Teacher Complaint: Connie Townsend (assistant Principal) - Mcbee High School

My 16 year old daughter told me she was suspended from school because she swallowed her gum instead of throwing it in the trash like the teacher said to do. I called the school 4 different times to find out when she could return to school and nobody was able to give me an answer. My mother called the school at 2:30 today and was told that the suspension had been lifted. My daughter rode with a friend to an awards banquet tonight and when entering the school, the vice principal, Connie Townsend, told her that she could not be there and that she had to leave school grounds. A mother that was present there said that the vice principal did not attempt to be discreet about telling my daughter this, and my daughter says that she embarrassed her and was very loud. Chelsea told the vice principal that she did not have a way home and Connie Townsend told her to leave school grounds. How can someone who is responsible for the well-being of children throw a young girl on the streets with no supervision? I have had very many issues in the past with Connie Townsend and have heard many stories about her from others. For instance, she told my other daughter that she was going to have her arrested for smiling at her friend during PASS testing. I also heard that she took a phone from a student and the student asked why she didn't take the phones from the black girls and Connie Townsend called the police on her. This vice principal should not be in the position that she is in. I do not believe that anything will be done but I want to file a complaint against her.

Yes I have thought about that and considering the circumstances, I think it is obvious that the vice principal who threw my daughter on the streets unsupervised is the problem. You must not have children.

It's obvious that your child is possibly or is a trouble maker. Nor did you raise her or the other one right. Get a life and stop trying to ruin Mrs. Connie Townsends'!

Nelson Threlkel and Briana Winburn are fake names. I know this because I did background searches and these people do not exist in the US. Please use your real names if you make comments and let's keep this legitimate.

Farrah, It is not funny that you are making comments under the names nelson threlkel and briana williams. This is a serious matter and should not be taken lightly. You are miscontruing this situation.

I know exactly where you're comming from, mrs.Laura. This isn't the first time that people gave had trouble with her. She seems to have a racial issue with white people. Especially white girls.
