Teacher Complaint: Mrs. Lilly - Daniels Elementary School
I can't enter the real date of this, so I just chose 1990.
This in fact happened to myself, and other students, in the early 1980's. The teacher may likely be retired by now, or deceased, but I want it known what she did.
Her name was Mrs. Lilly and she taught 2nd grade at Daniels Elementary in the 1980's. (Not to be confused with the other Mrs. Lilly who taught 6th grade.)
This is what she did to me personally, again this was 2nd grade:
She singled me out constantly, she could tell I was sensitive and thus called me names (like crybaby) in front of the class. Well, of course all the other students then began to do the same. Because of her, I was always a target after that. She also picked on me and tried to upset me all the time. She made fun of the way I spoke even though I never had speach problems. Her behavior was unacceptable.
My homelife was already bad enough due to my Mother and her verbal abuse. So, I already had little self esteem, thus I never told my parents about Mrs. Lilly. She made it so school was as bad as home. I'm also sure she likely abused other children during her career.
In my class I was her main target, however she christened a couple of the other students "booger king" and "booger queen" because of their nose-picking. I suppose she thought this was helpful. Teasing CHILDREN is not right.
I'm sure nothing will ever be done about this, but I think people should know what kind of a person she was to her students. She must have had real problems if she needed to pick on her students that way! She could tell I was weak and she chose her victim well. She never was reported. I just hope someday, somehow she will get hers in the end. Or at least have some real honest remorse for her horrid behavior. I didn't need her "help" in becoming less social, I had it hard enough at home. She certainly made it all the harder for me to develop and grow.
