Teacher Complaint: Patricia M. Flores - E P H S - C C Winn Campus
My name is Maricela H Meraji, I am not only complaining about the teacher, also have a complain about the Priciple of that school:
I'm not sure of the dates, but my daughter and I went to the Principle's office to complain about Ms. Flores and he did promise he would take care of the problem and also that my daugher would be able to change classes once the semester began for this year. First of all my daughter is NHS she has really tried and accomplised the grades she had before this incident or let's say before this teacher and Principle at this school. Apparently, the kids in my daughter's class were given a take home test, my daughter did not attend class that day, so she asked Ms. Flores if she could get the test as a make up since she didn't attend class on the day it was given to the other kids, Ms Flores had already given a second change on the test to other kids, and she refused to let my daughter take it. My daughter says this teacher is very sarcastic, with them she come's in late to class alot, and she also has favorites. Because Ms Flores did not give my daughter the chance to take this test the way she did with the other kids, it has really affected my daughter's grades. Mr. Diaz (the Principle), also mentioned that there have been many complaints about this teacher and yet no one has done anything about her. Apparently she is very vendictive towards the kids, when they complain about her and I really feel this is why she did what she did. I did speak to a couple of the kids and they agree that this teacher should not be there. They are also afraid to complain because of fear of retaliation. She had already told my daughter she would give her the test before the 8th of December but she kept making excuses everytime my daughter asked her about it. I wanted to go to the school board and file a formal complaint, but I'm really afraid they will not do anything about it the same way Mr. Diaz did. Please Help, I want my daughter changed from her class or for her to be fired. I strongly believe she will keep treating these kids this way until someone does something about her. My daughter is only one kid I can't even imajine how many more have complaints and are afraid to say anything.
