Teacher Complaint: Garcia - Franklin Middle School

Below is a a email I wrote to her stating a issue I had with her not behaving as a teacher should, and I thought her actions were unacceptable, and I was not happy. this has now caused me to send a note to my local school board as well stating the below issues due to she was unable to handle the boys it has now moved to another class room. The boys continue to taunt my child as well as her. We are useless she has the pen, and they have the muscle..



EXAMPLE: He has also stated that while you are getting on him about whatever, and he starts to explain himself Antonio and the other kid will start to chime in by calling him GAY and a FAGGOT and you will not even acknowledge it. Matter of fact he stated he has said he asked do you hear them calling me those names and your response is I am talking to you right now I am not worried about them, and this is not okay!!!



This makes me really concerned and upset because you call me about his behavior, but you’re not seeing what might or is the cause of his issue. We as adults must see more that just that child. I as an adult can only take so much of someone that keeps nagging me. I will soon burst myself and when someone of authority comes to me I will not want to talk because you had blinders on all this time, and if at this time you still can’t see what the real issue is. We will have to work together as a team, ,but I see that you are also might be a bully as the teacher, so not only does he have two kids in the class you just might also be using such actions which can’t be excepted. I will be meeting with you face to face sooner than later. I just had so much on my heart after seeing my child break down last night with my mother and I it took everything I had not to come to the school this morning, but I just need time to collect my thoughts so when I come to you we can sit in front of each other as professionals. Don’t get me wrong I do know my child I am aware he can be Deon’te but you or no one will get up in his face and yell at him, and I will not allow no one to disrespect him any longer. I will give you some time to get this child Antonio and his counterpart in check or the school board will b notified. I am on your side, but we must work together not against each other or against my child. I love him and will do anything to better him and his education, and with that being said I cannot allow anyone to beat his spirit down as he feels you have by always lying on him by assuming he has gum …my son chews on the inside of his lip and gums specially when he gets nerves or upset, but it seems he only has this issue in your class so my thoughts have you ever taken time to look into his 504Plan to see how to help him, how to see him, and how to know him. Deon’te is a sweet kid and has a huge heart that wants everyone to get along and be friends, but not to bother his stuff.



I know I wrote a long email, but a had a lot on my heart from my child. I am a mother first, and a mother that protects her child. I love him, and I always will. I am with him when he is wrong, right and indifferent. But all in all I am his mother. I hope you understand.
