Teacher Complaint: Ms. Lublin - Johnson Midsch
I would have to grudgingly profess that Johnson Jr High of Las Vegas, NV, has an urgent need to weed out ineffective teachers. Example, Ms. Lublin, the 6th, 7th, & 8th PE girls instructor. Ms. Lublin has a mental outlook that needs major atoning. I was under the impression, PE teachers communicated their goals and objectives to the students, parents, administrators and others, not purposely defraud them as well create a displeasing atmosphere for visiting parents. I learned that my daughter's gym locker had been broken into twice and her belongings stolen while under Ms. Lublin's supervision and was told to look around in the locker room's lost and found for her items -as the students are punished with intense exercise for not dressing out.
I also believed PE teachers did not use excuses, but focused on finding solutions -even in the toughest of situations. With that being said, I politely inquired to Ms. Lublin on the protocols taken for the 2 violating acts, her reply,"She can't watch them all, the school gave her lockers and said, here go assign them." Untrue by the way, therefore I reported the situation with the proper administration. A meeting was called I would assume, as the following few days, Ms. Lublin berated and harassed my daughter for my visit to sit in with the class(as I always do without challenges) and again for my daughter forgetting a jacket within her locker that she went to retrieve in between classes, thus causing my daughter to be tardy for the next class without proper notice to the next teacher nor administrative officials.
Lastly, I believed, teachers were to be role models for their students by practicing what they preach, -a lifestyle of regular, sufficient physical activity, courtesy and respect. I suppose I was, without fail, proven incorrect.
Within such an environment of adults, how then is a student to be encouraged to be courteous and respectful toward others? My daughter, is a model student, for her teachers rave about how well mannered, courteous, respectful, polite she is etc. Never has there been any reason for me to visit with her school for ill behavior or lack of effort academically. She's in honor courses and is an A+ - B+ student, out of 7 years of schooling, I haven't one complaint from a teacher as a matter of fact, they actually have visited with us at our home to speak on how wonderful, thoughtful and helpful she is. She's being pulled in several directions for her high school years for her many talents by her teachers and coach alike. She's a great student, beautiful daughter and she has the biggest heart ever.
I need help to return Ms. Lublin to a Real Teacher's Frame of Mind.
