Teacher Complaint: Miss Smith - Holden Elem School
It has come to my attention that my granddaughter had misbehaved in school today January 9 2012. she was to sit in corner and not participate in class activity, which I deem proper punishment. However what I do NOT deem proper punishment is the teachers behavior towards my granddaughter during the punishment. Miss Smith was repeatedly asked by my granddaughter to use the washroom only to be denied and yelled at. So many times that she had no choice but to relieve herself in her clothes in front of the whole class for which she was repeated yelled at. My granddaughter is 7 and has been toilet trained and accident-free for over 4 years. This is unacceptable behavior towards a 7 year old child and we will be lodging a formal complaint taking futher legal action concerning this matter. No child should be mistreated by teachers and/or persons paid by the city to teach and protect them. I feel Miss Smith can no longer control herself nor should be allowed to be in control of children.
