My name is Jacqueline Rose I live at 229 almond avenue I have been a resident of Manteca since 1990 … my son 10 yrs old attends Sequoia school in Manteca my phone number is 209-430-4880
I am complaining about a school system that is unfair to me and my family. Manteca school district. This complaint is regarding my son Casshis West . He is a fifth grader now. Casshis has been through a lots for as schools in Manteca ca…Casshis started out at Hansel Gretel Day care as an infant.(problems) Mcparland ( problems) left Manteca for a year went to Los Angeles County. There Casshis went to school a whole year there was no problem there. Brock Elliot he was placed on an IEP to help him catch up in school that what I was told . None the services were giving to him school started giving him a hard time letting the kids pick on him. Teachers allowed students to lie on Casshis the teacher stated to Casshis that she didn’t believe him. Teacher sent Casshis to the office several times for small things to make up a excuse for SST meeting to be possible. At the time it was only academically. The
vice principle suggested we put him special education so that he can catch only then. She tried to out slick me and threw the behavior part in. when I agreed on the academic help . all of a sudden behavior issues came up. The school did not start Casshis on the plan right away but they claim that he needed help. The whole plan was to get him out of general education. I o.k. the plan, they took their mighty ole time, to create some behavior issues as well. O.k. everyone is in on this…Teacher never contacted me that my son needed help. They just let me bring him to school. And build a fake record on him without my knowledge. Vice principle had words with me over the phone. .she was communicating with principal and attendant , administrative department regarding the matter. The vice principle was not being fair. They had Casshis on the IEP already so they wanted to add the behavior which was not in the picture at first or an issue. That kind of explain why they prolonged the extra help they promised. So thing started getting out of hand . they knew just what to do to get him upset and confused about anything.. I refused the behavior acceptance and to believe that my child had been just picking at other kids for no reason. That was a lie, it was the other way around they were picking at Casshis. O.k. even after they put Casshis on a plan they still treated him the same like he was a regular student with different rules only he had. They ran him around like he was a fool… all staff was aware. O.k. I was tired of the vice principle calling me for no reason on Casshis’s behalf . But for the reason they had been getting him upset and they tried to blame it on him. Remember the teacher never contacted me at all regarding any problem with Casshis. The vice principle argued with me on the phone. She wanted me to come sit in the class room. The day she wanted me to come . I told her I had a funeral to attend that I would come back and sit in the class room so i went to Oakland to the funeral. Before I could get there good the vice principle called me knowing that I was at the funeral demanded I come get Casshis he was out of hand. I told her I was on my way back to get him we argued she threw him in the hallway a locked him in he had a cell phone on him that she knew nothing about she was mad he had that and called when she scared him. She took the phone from him when she found he had it. I was on the phone. She hung up on me on his phone for reason she was shocked he had a phone. Casshis stated she opened her mouth like oh my he has a phone. Could someone have heard what was going on in here. That’s when she took his phone. He got upset with her because she took the phone because she didn’t want to get caught mistreating him being that she is vice principle. And other office personnel was present. i told her I was on my way. I told her I was going to call the police. She called the police and told them that she was afraid that I may come and do something to her. I never had made any threats or anything to make her think that. She was just being hateful to my son. And thought because she worked in the school she could get away with this. It is probably one of her specialties discrimination. I talked to Amy the counselor at the school she was not straight .She act like I had to hurry too knowing I was at a funeral trying to get back they were trying to worry me as much as they could. They called the police because they knew they wrong. And what they had done to Casshis they would have tried to kill me if that was their child. But I prayed to GOD instead. On my way back from Oakland to Manteca, I had a flat just by when I coming hitting 120 freeway a officer call me from the school he was there with Casshis I was happy so was Casshis when the officer let me talk to him . Casshis was so happy when the officer appeared he stated to me over the phone. I talked to the officer told me Casshis was fine and that he seem o.k. when got there. there was nothing he saw Casshis doing wrong. I told the officer I just got a flat rushing back from Oakland. I asked the officer could bring Casshis to me at the gas station. The officer brought Casshis to me from the school. when he got to the gas station he said . they didn’t believe you were at a funeral and they probably wouldn’t believe you have flat. He advised me to not go to the school without someone being there to witness my presence because he knew they making up stories. I told him I didn’t want to go back to that school so he said call someone to be there from police station. I never made any kind of threat what so ever. I called the office that Amy was out of told the girl that answered the phone that I did not want service for Casshis anymore. She the counselor center outside office person said I will send a email to Amy. I said o.k. he is withdrawn from special services. O.k. I tell her im on my way to get Casshis she the vice principle was like hurry up I was afraid he was too because she had locked him in the hallway. Thank GOD he had the phone he called me scared.. she understand because she did the dirt. But he was so scared because he knew he did nothing to deserve that. I told the vice principle I was going to file a complaint so she did one first to cover her lies. But that wont stand. Because that was retaliation because I stated I would. I home schooled him for end of 3rd grade. He had never even started using the IEP plan at the school before I took him out. At the beginning of 4th grade I took him to Sequoyah school in Manteca his home school. they started Casshis on a plan that was used without my knowledge started telling me that Casshis is doing all this crazy stuff. I was like why is he doing this stuff oh he was getting special education help that was planned for him in the third grade and didn’t get a update from home school that he had attended last. I received a letter stating Casshis was not in special education anymore because I decided to home school him but when I do bring him back Manteca schools. We could have a meeting if I wanted the services I knew why he was acting then because they were trying to get him out of general ed just to put him into special education. But they were trying to be slick about it by creating a reason on their own instead of discussing it with me the parent of Casshis L West. O.k. if I don’t cooperate with them then issue gets worst. I talked to vice principle regarding Casshis she wasn’t straight. I talked to the principle she wasn’t straight, she refused to take Casshis off the plan I knew nothing about, now im his mother how can she refused to take my son off a plan that I tell her too? She has an issue with herself she should not be over any schools with that attitude. That’s discrimination I know it is, has it happen to anyone else? O.k. one of yard duty parent/harasser( Teresa) ,,,which I and my son label her as. Now other yard duty person thought that it would be o.k. for Casshis to play with Teresa son Tanner o.k. Teresa then approached Casshis I heard you hit my son don’t be hitting my son….that was a school issue I thought not a personal issues. How can because you work at the school, you can mistreat people kids ? My son is very afraid of her that why he keeps too himself at that school. he does not have to play with the kids that the teacher turns against him. I addressed this matter to the principle herrin she is full of hate. She doesn’t care for Casshis at all they show it in everyway.. because if you know a kid has problems like they say why do show no sympathy? Just trying to get him where you want him. Need to file a complaint that I want too. O.k. now its just last week Casshis started getting call homes from the principle. Teacher asked if anyone wanted help after school she helped Casshis with one problem them sent him home. Teacher asked Casshis was he done with his work one day . teacher allowed student to blurt out no he is not finished. She took the students word and yelled at Casshis. Casshis started crying in class. That the first they said he a problem with behavior this year. Teacher hated on my baby and that’s a fact she is trying not to let him learn on purpose. She knows that he is capable unless she not capable of credential teaching. Teacher is yelling at him because they know he does not like it that is abuse. Now yard duty Teresa knows he doesn’t like it because have all discussed it. Teresa yells at him and pick at him. She make up lies . Teresa went and got the principle for no reason Mr. cook he contacted me. Mr. cooks said to me when I ran down the story to him. He said I will get to the bottom of this .he said he did not want go chasing ghost. Because when went out Casshis was getting some water like he said. She had him remove Casshis from the play ground. Casshis for no reason. She is sticking to trying to make it seem like Casshis doesn’t want to play with other kids. They had keeping him in the office away from the other kids. Teacher whispered in student ear
Casshis saying his name in students ear to make Casshis get upset on 8/31/10 she is so cold and petty that is abusive to all the kids to let the kids know she is so simple mannered. Playing prejudice games ..Casshis stated that she treat him the other African American student almost same. But show favoritism to the other races students. Teacher discussed an made issue with other student, sent her to the office to tell the story. That student doesn’t not have anything to do with another student situation. Yes the teacher needs to go back to school, because she will end in Jail putting pressure to people kids. My son never cry at home for any reason. Maybe because I have not done anything to you at the school you think its cool. That is how I know the students are being turned against my son. Teacher except lie from student saying Casshis tried to go in her desk. Casshis told her that he didn’t do that the teacher told him I don’t believe you. Wow that should make a person stressed out I bet he do need counseling after that. Yes I do want counseling for the abuse your school has caused my son. Like today herrin did him the same way basically he was trying to tell her something she turned her head on him rude principle. Now she needs counseling for her behavior. Casshis comes and tell me all these things. This does not sound like a student with issues. I talked to herrin today 8/31/10 I didn’t even know who I was talking too. I told her how I felt. She not true or the teacher lied on Casshis talking about he went off in class because they said they will call me on him that’s when he put a book on his face and started acting up, /not true. If that was so why did he go out the class to call me? Principle herrin not true. He even called his dad after that. He knows what they are doing. Teacher stated to counselor that Casshis has emotional problem. Yes he may have a problem after came back to be a student. And Manteca school system is trying to cover their past mistakes still. They are only going to get themselves in hot water. Oh they are already in hot water it will show up soon. They are abusing my son and trying to turn it around but it looks and sound dumb. Me and son has a very excellent relationship. Treating my son wrong is not an option in our world I love my son very much and all I want is for him succeed! GOD sees them just like I told the vice principle at the other school what if someone treated your child that way. She turned it around told the principle I was talking about her kids/ and the same time she is mentally abusing my son. They would suspend him from school if I don’t abide by their rules. They did it before nothing. Today 8/31/10 herrin maybe started preparing for a excuse for all of this I told earlier this 8/31/10 I would file a complaint again and appeal the last one/… I went to the Manteca school district today joy William told me that uniform complaint form is for text book and material only so did superintendent office person Lori. I filed one last year2010 .Lori told me I have file a complaint on yard duty and teacher with principle. I told her herrin everything today8/31/10 but there is nothing she is the leader. I gave joy Williams a complaint form for Teresa yard duty, herrin principle and teacher room 30/ 5th grade. I end up at the school one day later I talked with Mr. cooks , Rotert, and Herrin. Only person I know was being truth was Mr. Cooks. Mr. Cooks said in the meeting that I spoke with him about Teresa . Mr. Cook stated that it was truth in what my child stated Teresa had done. Mrs. Wasn’t being straight, Ms. Rotert wasn’t being straight. One day Casshis was suppose to had pushed two kids heads in the water..Casshis stated he had been hit in the head first, then he sprayed water. Ms. Herrin told me that one kid said he hit him and the other stated he sprayed him. Ms. Herrin stated some kids saw Casshis about to climb to the fence. I fear that my son has to School there, but i know he needs to be in school. Since I file the reports things are going into retaliation mode. Now I know that Casshis is not doing what they say he is. The teacher just Friday the 10 of sept. let a student get away with lying is that good or bad? She called me after school and stated Casshis ran off and went to office on his own. I talked Ms. Herrin before that Casshis was in her office she had heard nothing but he want to call me. So someone had already talked to Ms. Herrin and im sure she would have told me if he had ran off. Ms. Herrin said it was Casshis’s ideal to call me. It appears to me that Ms. Rotert is not being truthful. Ms. Rotert says Casshis is not doing any work in class. Ms. Rotert told me that at the meeting, it was brought up at the end of the meeting, when nothing else worked. Mr. Cook mentioned putting Casshis into another class. Ms. Herrin stated to him they had talked about it. She Ms.Herrin appeared to me she was saying no. That would probably mess up their program. I feel that if she is doing wrong and I complaint about her. I feel that her boss Ms. Herrin knows what’s going on. I feel that Ms. Herrins boss knows what’s going on also. Casshis is singled out on everything, including the class to class contracting. I did mention that to Ms. Herrin. When I was in the meeting with Herrin, Cook, and Rotert. Casshis was asked to leave the room. Teresa was in the office that day. Casshis stated she was out there making comments towards me, so that he could hear. Casshis stated to me she said Jackie has a problem with me. Then says he doesn’t finish his work. Ms. Rotert did not tell me any of these things until the meeting that was not even planned. Ms. Herrin stated in her letter of response to me regarding the complaint I file on her teacher Ms. Rotert. That there was no evidence of teacher whispering in student ear. The student confirmed Teacher whispered in her ear to several students including Casshis. The student stated that Casshis is getting picked on to other students. Casshis is being singled out, Ms. Herrins group is making every effort to spoil this year for Casshis and I. I say this because every year so far has been messed up over little things. The teacher calls me to tell me Casshis had a bad day as if he on the IEP sending the report home everyday. Telling him that she will call me knowing that’s what make him upset. Ms. Rotert takes kids words that Casshis is making them laugh. Casshis is not caught doing this. Ms.Rotert took kids words that Casshis called him stupid. Ms. Rotert always take action on Casshis. Ms. Rotert has never discipline a student for Harrassing Casshis. Casshis told Ms. Rotert, Ms. Herrin , and Mr. Cook similar incidents but no one was punished. In the meeting that us four of us discussed. When the two little boys hit Casshis the head at the water fountain. Then told that Casshis hit them both at the same time, that’s a lie. Casshis was sent to the office to write down what he had done. no one was punished for hitting Casshis. Yard duty was present, if not where were they ????? I will not except Teresa just being away from Casshis, I feel she should be punished, Ms. Rotert should be punished for discrimination in the class. Ms. Herrin in the office, still allowing. I will like appeal these complaints in a even higher manner, because school district did not investigate thoroughly according to the brochures. Casshis notice the times gets distracted, around lunch, and on Fridays or Holidays. All through the week there is no problem as much. Casshis is distracted during lunch because they don’t want him to be around other kids to show he is a kid in better shape than some other. Casshis will soon be stressed out and in need of counseling for the stressful situation at school. I would like to know why my son is suppose to be the liar and not anyone else? In one of my letters I received from school district, stated that Herrin was at no fault. Whosoever stated that I will like you to prove that to me. I would like to know what investigation you performed to get the results. I would like a copy of all the necessary documents from the investigations that was performed regarding my complaints. I will like to move to the next level of service on all complaints. I need to know what is going on. O.k. today at 1:45 Ms. Rotert called me . She stated that Casshis was seen by the students only that he was trying to choke himself. Ms. Rotert stated that she did not see anything. I Told her to let me speak to Casshis he said he did not do that. I told her to call Ms. Herrin and tell her then. I told her that was a really things if he had done it. But I know better than that, he didn’t do it. The letter I got back from Cheryl Meeker was very clear that wasn’t a proper investigation. To me I took it as, what I say or my 5th grade does not matter. Now we are in retaliation mode with the school. Now they are moving fast to get Casshis out of class. They are having the kids lying and praising them. Ms. Rotert yelled out in class telling all students im going to call Casshis Mom. After she stated she doesn’t tell others business. Rotert told me that sure I believe the other kids , a group of kids. She called Ms. Herrin told her I didn’t believe her 28 kids. Now she wants tell that all 28 students saw Casshis choking himself and she missed it all then. God knows in heaven that is not true. May she was sleeping, or maybe its not true. She stated that by the time she turned around she saw nothing. It should be investigated that my child Casshis L. West is being treated as any other General Ed student. I feel that if I am complaining this much and very unhappy. Someone at the school district should hear my side of the story. The school suspended Casshis today for nothing. I saw one thing on the suspension papers . I refused to sign it, I went to school district. By the time I made it there they had added on the suspension. Casshis was taken from the class to the office. If I were those other kids I would be afraid of the teacher. They another vice principle that say he no nothing about Casshis. He saw nothing but he tried to say Casshis refused to go to the office. Casshis stated not true. Teacher told Casshis just before they came to get Casshis that she will tell that Casshis broke the door knob. When the man showed up , she said nothing. Casshis stated he did not break the door knob. Today was crazy they had it all planned. Mr. Cook wasn’t there. Teacher put student that they I just agreed to move away from Casshis back today. She is the one that told us Casshis gets dogged by the school .Teacher kicked Casshis out the class. He had finished his test first. He had to eat lunch in the lunch room. After one hour the vice principle called me said he was suspended. He had told Casshis he was not in trouble. He lied and say that he had dialed my number one hour ago I didn’t answer. He told Casshis that he was not going to be in trouble so he would not want to call me. Then they called after Casshis got done eating. I asked for my son too be dropped the school refused today. I want him registered as a home student now. I am afraid to release him back to the school. I have a witness that works in the office that told me their lying on Casshis. Everything so clearly my child is being abused. I am sending this to Manteca school district. For re-evaluation appeal. If you can not help send to someone who can. Today I visited the school district talked to Cheryl Meeker and Debbie Houck. Cheryl Meeker told that she would forward my complaint to Barnett and that was the last step. I told her she did not respond to all my concerns. Debbie Houck took notes. I told the both of them that I will take Casshis out of school if they don’t fix this problem. Just like last year Ms. Houck didn’t care. Ms. Houck stated you can do what ever you want that’s your child. I said in a position like yours you should try to encourage a parent to keep their child in school. you should be telling the parent that you don’t care. that shows me, after I filed these complaints I have no results. they are playing games. they are retaliating against me and my son for complaints. Ms. Houck and meeker knows all about it. Ms.Houck is a liar, first she stated she did not read they letter I wrote. Then she said later in the stated conversation. You must have been mad when you wrote that letter. oh I thought she said she didn’t read it. Ms.Houck stated right off she didn’t know what was going on at the school. I told her some people knows things before they happen. I just better that than that. A principle and staff doing all that disrupting a child education and no one knows. I filed these complaints and still nothing. Its like oh well. I received responses, not on all issues. If they left out the issues at first they all needs to be resolved. Then they need to give a response in a timely manner.
This a letter that I am adding to while it happens , you notice in the letter. I am telling you these things before they happen. They suspended my child for nothing yesterday. Then this day of 9/15/2010 his want to be teacher sends me test that he didn’t even have a fair chance and nothing about what happened in school for the day. nothing about what happened. she is a hater, and wrote her back to tell her that and cc Ms.herrin. The teacher is not teaching my son on purpose and Ms. Herrin and the school district knows. they trying to play a game as before. Ms. Meeker tried to get out of handling the complaint stating that she had already investigated. There was no investigation done. When Casshis told them what had happened they said nothing because they knew he was telling the truth. MS. Rotert sent me a login for school. nothing else until 8/15/2010 when she lied on to get Casshis out of class.

Ms. Rose, sorry for the misunderstanding but that email is a generic one created by the website that I use to keep grades and is a standard email for all students that was sent out today for the math test my students took this morning. I send the email to notify parents of how their child is doing in class and you should have received these in the past also, as well as a login email from the website teacherease.com to look at any of Cassias’ assignments and grades at any time. Oh fifth grade teacher who is Cassias’.. that is being very disrespectful , this proof that she is calling my son out of his name. that doesn’t look like a mistake. The score for this math test is his results for the test he took this morning. If you would not like these updates in the future then please let me know. Thanks

I thought I should have received these in the past. no I have not. she needed to show proof from her sent messages. that sent them I didn’t receive anything but the login. so after sending these emails to her Ms. Herrin is also aware because I cc her.
Casshis has received no homework for this week. I am requesting that my child be sent another school here in Manteca not including Brock Elliott or Sequoia
O.k. I did not return Casshis to the school because of the false suspension. That’s was a disruption to my Childs education. ON the 22nd of September I called Ms. Houck to see if she had found or approved the transfer request I had made. Ms. Houck finally called me back. Ms. Houck told me that she had found a school Moss dale. Ms. Houck stated that , Moss dale was in fact the only school that had an 5th grade opening. I asked her was the school located in Manteca, she stated it is in the district. At that time I had no knowledge it was in Lathrop. Ms. Houck stated they could provide transportation for Casshis. I don’t see why when he was being moved because of a school violation Manteca school staff made. O.k. I went in Thursday 23rd to Moss dale spoke briefly with Sanders. She talked with me and Casshis for a little while. She asked if Casshis wanted me or her to take him to class. Of course he wanted me to go along. And is because it was indeed his first day there.. O.k. the teacher doesn’t know me or him, but im sure she and the principle has been up dated on everything before we had arrived. When Sanders found the Casshis wanted me walk with him to the class room. Sanders immediately stated to Casshis that if your mother walked with you to the class the kids may feel something negative. I don’t know where she came from with that one. Yes to the left. So I was like Casshis you can go to the class with principle. But at the same time I’m saying because I want him to get to know the principle. Sanders then changed and said you can walk with us so you can meet the teacher. Ok. We walked to the class room first we went to the wrong class 43/oops. Then we proceeded to the next class room which was 42// We went to Ms Reese class, she opened the door, she sure didn’t seem surprise or happy to see her new student or family. Wow I am a parent, but no hello just stares. Casshis was taken into the class room to class room and teacher walked away, there was no students [please sit down we have a new student with a parent and the principle was present. The principle said to me oh do you want you want to talk to the teacher for a minute. I thought that was why I went to the class to, at least to say a word or two. Sanders looked in, and then I started trying to walk in.. Sanders never walked inside the class room or gave me a chance too. When I started in the class Sanders almost ran into me , telling that the teacher busy. I felt more odd at that time. I never even got a chance to see where my child had been seated. I never had a chance to enter that class room at all. I was rushed off by the principle. Ms. Sanders clearly stated that I had to signed in before entering the campus. I know very well that I have to let someone know if I enter any school campus, not just there. Cameras are use for security most of the time.. Sander never said once that the cameras were there to make sure no one came in to harm the children. I really appreciate the cameras they can also help on behalf of parents if misconduct is taking place. Like in my case, it was very well caught by the cameras what I stated above in front of room 42.. O.k. I left the campus with Sanders I was a little nervous but left anyway hoping that she would make that she make that change for Casshis sake. Sanders told me to have Casshis at the school at 8:30. I felt suspicious on that order. Sanders made me feel that she didn’t want him on the play ground with the other kids for some reason. I feel that Sanders knew almost every detail from the other school. If she did not, im really worried because. All that Sequoia claims that happened at their school ,that should have been brought to the principle Sanders attention and school and Moss dale school staff. O.k. . I asked that morning did Ms Houck fill you in Ms. Sanders? Sanders stated that she was told nothing at all concerning Casshis. Only that it was an administrative move. The front office seemed to know something, but they gave me nothing, told nothing, I received no school start time , school end time, no paper work as if my child was coming to a new school. We were treated as though it was temporary placement for Casshis. On the 24th Casshis was sent home from school with no work at all. No homework, no forms, no notes, no concerns from teacher or principle. I wasn’t shocked, there in on the crap I’m feeling this. O.k. the next day which Friday Sanders called me at almost 2 pm to tell that Casshis was in her office. The first thing she said was that she only had ten minutes to talk. She said Casshis had been removed from his class. Sanders stated that the teacher said that Casshis had scissors and he was chopping them at a student, a girl. Sanders stated the teacher stated she took them away and Casshis approached her to get them back. Sanders stated that teacher stated Casshis pushed desk over on student s leg a girl. Sanders stated that the little girl was hurt they had to apply ice pack to her leg, Sanders stated to me that the little girl was indeed crying. That was why Casshis was being held in the office.. I told her that I would be there. When I told her that I would be there in ten minutes, she told me not to come until school was out that she had a meeting to go into. So I waited parked in a parking lot near by. Soooo worried. I knew that Sanders wasn’t being straight, they say if you lie you will steal. Sanders made every effort to make us feel limited to certain things and children at the school. I’m so worried she, knows this Sanders stated she knew I had worries about the school system but at the same time sometime pretending she is unaware of our situation or complaints. O.k. I waited until after school and went to the office to meet with teacher a Sanders. Casshis was sitting in front as though he was just there to waiting for me. I already knew what was going on for some reason or another. O.k. Casshis and was told to step in Sanders office. When we approached the door of Sanders office. Sanders said let Casshis wait outside for a while. The teacher Reese, Sanders and I sat down. Sanders asked is there something you want to ask the teacher. I said yes, and proceeded to talk. I asked the teacher Reese did you give Casshis homework, did you have any paper work for me, Because I thought that was strange a new student that no one new anything about has had nothing for home or me after his first at the school.. Teacher stated yes I told them to take out page 90 of math for homework. I where is his, is it in the desk where is. Did you check to see if he had it did you ask him for his homework. She was aware that Casshis had no homework. She did call me or showed no concerns regarding Casshis’s first day there. The teacher looked as though she didn’t know how to answer me. Then we got the part about the scissors, I asked about the scissors. The teacher stated Casshis had the scissors chopping them at students now this is more than one student now. Teacher stated that Casshis suppose to had came up to her desk to take the scissors from her. In front of the class. Now this is a student that doesn’t play, like eat, or talk to students they say. I asked where was the scissors , The teachers stated they were in window. We let Casshis in the office, Casshis me that the teachers was telling false allegations . Casshis stated he approached the teacher trying to explain to her that he did not do anything.. Casshis that the teacher told him to sit down. Casshis stated that he never asked for the scissors back.. When Casshis explained this to the principle he said that she told him not to argue with her before she called me. The principle was not being straight with me. The teacher never argued the fact to Casshis he really approached her for scissors. The teacher stayed quiet for most of the meeting. The teacher didn’t have answers for me at all.. Casshis continued he story to the teacher and principle. I even tried tricks to made him know not to lie to tell me the truth. He was telling the truth as usual.. The principle never said what her results were after Casshis gave his side of the story. While I continued on to ask about the scissors. The teacher didn’t want to talk more about the scissors, .The teacher told me lets get to the part about the desk. I told her first things first. She wanted to change to subject. She could find any righteous answers for me. O.k. Before I got there the principle stated that the teacher did not see the desk fall. if the teacher did not see the desk fall or being pushed over. Tell me how can she speak about it. She rushed to that part of the story for what? Casshis told the principle that the chair was broken. So I’m saying the desk must have been also. The desk fell as Casshis tried to put his books back in his desk. Before I got to the school the principle said the little girl had bruise on her leg. When I told her I didn’t think the little girl got hit by the desk, principle says she did I saw it and we applied ice. I said did you call her parents . The principle stated No she didn’t that the girl was fine then. I sat there saying to them both the teacher and principle if the desk was an issue why didn’t you call this girls mom. The principle then started saying that she would call her later. I had can to the conclusion that there was no truth coming for the teacher that had a poor introduction on the first or the principle that told me to have a blessed day. But my son got kicked out of class for what?. Now he did all that he did not get suspended from school. No incident report was made. I l left that school with no results. The principle stated at the end of the meeting we will have fresh start on Monday, she also said that on the first there too. As though she had been informed of something. O.k. I asked about the little girl that got hurt the principle stated that the little girl was now o.k. I kept the girl in our conversation. O principle kept right on she is fine. It worried me that they didn’t contact the parent. So all of a sudden Sanders got up left her office. Then she returned and said the school contacted the little girls mom. Sanders also stated the mom said she was fine. But the principle said the little girl had a bruise. I feel that was very untrue. O.k. I had a meeting at the district office with Dr. Barnett, I was answering questions for her as though I was the had done something wrong. I stated to her that I was really scared that my son was at school. It doesn’t matter what school all the principles know what’s going on. I asked Sanders if she was aware of Casshis situation, she answered no. But I know that is not true, because the pattern is from the other schools. Sanders admitted that she knew it was some kind of problem. She stated that Ms. Houck didn’t fill her in on anything. But I don’t understand that, because with all the situations that they claim is happening at the schools, why wouldn’t Houck let Sanders know anything. Now Casshis has been suspended from school, removed from the class several times. I just don’t see why Ms. Houck wouldn’t let Sanders know what’s going. I find that very hard to believe. I know that Houck didn’t just place my son to that school and nothing was said. If she did, that was wrong. O.k. yesterday 9/27/2010 when I picked Casshis up from school , I saw paper in his hand. I said you got trouble today. He stated yes I got in trouble for nothing I didn’t do anything. I said tell me what happened today. It is becoming a habit putting him out of class. Dr. Barnett stated in the meeting that maybe his teacher needs to see what kind of student he was before she started giving him homework. I feel that maybe the teacher needs to find out what kind of student his before she starts kicking him out of class for know reason. Casshis stated the teacher placed him away for the other students. Her excuse was because he made a desk fall that was broken. Casshis is being placed away from the other students. This is something that he should tell me, the teacher should have told me these things. I don’t even know where my child sits in class. I was practically forced away from the class door on his first day. I am planning to attend that class today 9/28/2010. I know they will not like this. I am curious as to what’s going on there. Ries knight make me feel that she doesn’t care for my son at all. When she speaks its only one or two words. Ries knight looks at us really funny. Ries knight is in fact discriminating on my son. This is a pattern from other Manteca schools. After or before lunch something always occur. I notice this and Casshis notice it too. I feel at this moment my child is being harassed by teachers and staff.. I am afraid they maybe giving him something in his food. My child seems to act different in some ways. I know that he is very disturbed now. When he get to school he doesn’t know what to expect. I worked hard with him, telling him not to let them make get upset. That is my child, and I love him very much. It tears me apart to know that the systems is so messed up. My child is being put in a bad position right now. Sanders is forcing my child out of the school. I know that. Now anytime a child is having problems in the class the teachers suppose to talk to a parent. Other students are given warnings before they are sent to the office. Casshis is sent straight to the office removed from class. Whoever is removing him from the class is making for the other children to not like him, be afraid for themselves, and maybe keep focus on Casshis. You principle stated on the first day that she would make sure Casshis made friends with other kids. I this point this hasn’t happened. None of the kids will want to be his friend in front of the Staff. It was funny that the principle would mention the cameras to me. Only in regards to if I tried to enter the campus without a pass. I feel that Ms. Houck placed Casshis in that school after she talked to the staff there., for a inconvience for me and Casshis, because she thought he didn’t know anybody there. Casshis knows students from the school. I have student that are willing to confirm the teacher is in fact lying. I m in class today at Moss dale school me and Casshis goes to the class to the office asks for Ms. Sanders, I was told that she was a little busy. Ms. Sanders called maintenance to take a chair to Ms. Ries knight class. I believe it was the same chair she was suppose to send on Friday 9/25/2010. O.k. what made me feel suspicious Sanders called when I stated I wanted to be present in Casshis’s class today 9/28/2010. Ries knight class, when me and Casshis walked in the class room Ms. Ries knight said to Casshis, your desk is in the back of the class because that’s where you wanted it , because you said you didn’t like to sit by other students. No good morning Ms. Rose or anything. Then I pulled out my laptop she approached Casshis then to tell him to pull out something from his desk. No instructions were given. Casshis arrived late with me so he didn’t get instructions on what to do. Teacher handed him math work and he was the only one with no instructions with excused Tardy. At this time Casshis is lost on what to do. Sanders stated that Casshis may have some difficulty with the work. Casshis is placed in the back of the class away from everyone. If he had to copy anything form the board he would have to strain his eyes to see. Im observing the class , I see disruptive classmates. Oh but the teacher sees but it is not a problem. I eel that if I was not here Casshis would not be included like. But he would have been sent to the office for not doing work. Teacher never asked the students whether they had line paper or where to get it until I gave Casshis line paper from binder. My will not learn if he has sit in the back of the class in straining mode. I had to write down what was on the board for Casshis for because he could see. The teacher never approached him or asked if he could see the board or if he had it . This teacher is wrong. The teacher finally walked back to Casshis to look at his work. She notice I was writing down what was on the board.. There are other students with difficulty in the class. I observed other students because they were present in the same class as Casshis. Several kids were playing in the class. None of the students were timed out or anything. Other students were pulling things from their back packs , playing, im sure Ries knight was aware of this. Student were sitting with both feet place in the chair. Students were talking and being disruptive while other were working. No comment from teacher. Teacher knew that I was present and was helping my son to see the board. Im seated in the back of the room with Casshis but on the opposite side of the room. Students do whatever they please looks like to me. Teacher passed student several times and see her with her feet up in the chairs and she doesn’t say a word. Several students were out of their seats playing around with the stapler. Also there was a very disruptive child bumping over things nothing was done. The same little girl that was suppose to have got hit by the desk she was also in to it with other student. That little was sitting there looking at me. One little boy actually came and stood up by door which there is where Casshis sits now. And just stared at Casshis, when I looked at him he walked away. I need to know why this student gets to walk up feet way from his desk without permission. I have been here for quite some time now its 11:15 and have been here since 8:30. We went out for recess at 10-10:10 , one little girl spoke to Casshis all the other kids just stare. The principle said on Casshis first day at Moss dale that she had a plan for Casshis to make friends. I can see that Casshis is here and he doesn’t have anybody that he was even introduce to. He knows some of the kids from events, activities on the outside of school. I don’t mind helping my son but this teacher is wrong. I fussed at my son because I didn’t know what the truth was, but now that I have seen what is going on my complaints stands and I will seek counseling for me and my son at the school district expense. Ms. Ries knight has seemed very suspicious since I been here. I have been other class rooms before. And this is the worse. As a matter of fact, im afraid to be here in this one. This school needs cameras all over the school in class rooms also. The teacher I sat in on today was really ashamed. Teacher knows that Casshis is a new student but doesn’t give him any kind of instructions on any past assignments or events, science camp information I know that my child would love to go to camp. I know they wont allow him to go. I explained to the principle that I didn’t like what’s going on in the school. I went to recess with my son this morning 9/28/2010. When lunch came I was called to the office. I was called in the office by Ms. Sanders. I took Casshis with me to the office. The teacher finally asked Casshis if he was going to lunch. I said no, I took Casshis to lunch with me. I went in to Sanders office first. She tried to make up excuses for Teacher. Sanders thinks someone is stupid here, she tells me that the teacher is shy the reason she didn’t say anything to me. I became very upset. Sanders tried to get me to sign Casshis on some counseling. At that time she did not tell me that I had to be finger printed to join my son on the play ground. We left for lunch, and when returned and signed in. Me and Casshis started to walk back to the class. Sanders came behind me and said are you going back in the class. I said yes I am. Sanders said to me at recess come back up and I will tell you why. I looked at her like I didn’t know why she said that. Then she said I will tell you now, you have to be finger printed before you can go to recess, it for security reasons. She said for real the volunteers has to be finger also.. I said o.k. too her , and I said its only for 10 min. I need to know that it was the truth that I needed to be finger printed to be present at recess with my son and I’m on the ground away all day in the class with students. Sanders was do to me she made me feel she didn’t want me at the school. They couldn’t believe I had stayed all day for they didn’t get a chance to put Casshis out of class. O.k. when I leave I will go to the school district to see if I need a finger print to be on the campus with my son and visiting his class.. Also Ries rolls her eyes at me when I came from lunch. O.k its recess 1:45 Ms. Ries jumps and says to the class it s time for recess. When I got ready to get up, by the time I made it to the door. Ries then says to me. You need to go to the office. I said Ms. Sanders already told me too. Ries says you have to go because I’m having a Sub to come in the school. I said I have the right to be her she says That she can ask me to leave if she wants too. I left then went to the office and told Sanders lying butt. She said she told Ries to pull me from the class. I became very upset. It wsas other African American students in the office yelling o I didn’t do anything. The purpose was to get me off the campus. When they knew I was there for the benefits of my son. Then I went to the district office and asked for Dr. Barnett. I explained to her the above statement. I need counseling for my son and myself. This school system has really changed my life totally.
