Teacher Complaint: Trish Satterwhite - Acsencion Solorsano Middle School

My son is disabled. The state has found the district out of compliance in following an IEP. The principal, Salvatore Tomasello has refused to implement the IEP as well. A positive behavior plan is supposed to be in place and my son is being suspended for passing gas and not moving in back of the class for 1/2 hour. His IEP states that he is suppose to have preferential seating, which means he can sit in the front.

The assistant principal, Maria Walker had suspended my son and also in defiance of the Educational Codes. She never called me and denied my son twice.

It is so frustrating when the district will not follow a legal document and want children to follow district policy. The staff are hypocrites. I find that they like to bully children and parents that question staff behavior. Yet, they are teaching critical teaching, but they are not tolerant of critical questioning. How IRONIC.

You are as ignorant as your kid passing gas in class. he should have been suspended and then you should have punished him at home for being disgusting. Instead you support his disgusting behavior by going against the school and for what amounts to a lack of class on your child's part. Maybe you should learn to be a parent and remember that child's disgusting habits reflect on you and your lack of parenting. He should not need an IEP or behavior plan not to be a pig or fart in class. Grow up. I say good for the principal and the school and shame on you and your kid!!!!! This is a disgusting complaint by disgusting people, grow up!!!!!!

Ok, honestly if someone with a disability passes gas in our school, there told to not do it again, Not to be suspended. I think the discipline done by the school is also to harsh. Suspending a kid for farting is wrong. The biggest discipline we are given in our school is to go to Lunch detention. I also think in your comment, you are being very immature as well. If you haven't noticed, teachers have a code of ethics on how to treat Students and Parents. And also saying in your quote, "Not to be a pig or fart in class," is a form of bullying a child, you can be charged and possibly lose your teacher certification. I think you also have to keep professional relationship with the parents as well. In that comment alone, I see about 5 counts of child bullying in that comment alone. Please keep it professional, you could have easily handled the situation nicely.

haha!! for farting in class!!Maybe shes not going against the school maybe shes just against you!!And from what i see the teacher isn't considering the student she only thought of how bad the parent made her look.
