Teacher Complaint: Mrs. Robinson - Bay Crest Elementary School
Firstly, my son's system was stolen. he identified the boy who did it. The principal kept the system hostage for 2 days. It was finally returned to my son without a stylus and full of green snots. The kid who stole the system was not even suspended. Had it been my child, he would have been suspended or worse expelled. Also I pulled my daughter from the school early in the school year because she was falling behind in math due to the teacher who was trying to fill up the math tutoring classes for her DAUGHTER the tutor. I am not kidding.
My daughter is now getting Mostly B's and some A's how do you explain that? They also REFUSED to let my daughter attend P.E., Art & music as part of her blended home school program.
My son tells me that the teachers stand around talking to each other during instruction time. Additionally, the kids participate in Success Maker which is a computer based program and its a free for all. No designated time or supervision. My son who has a 6th grade reading level was actually failing 3rd grade reading due to his scores on Success Maker. There are kids that just "hang out" at the computers and pester & annoy the kids that are trying to do their work. This school is a joke. There are feces on the wall in the boy's bathroom. I don't know why the health inspector hasn't cited this place. Opt for choice. Stay away from this school!!!
