Teacher Complaint: Principle Dawn Breese - Dr. Peter Marshall

My son has been attending a school for 3 years/ Dr. Peter Marshall School in Anaheim, Ca. Prior to this we lived in Corona, CA, where he entered, pre-k, Kindergarten, and 1st grade. The transition was very hard, not to mention he didn't know any kids and we moved in the middle of the year. Upon coming to this school, I had issues with his 1st grade teacher, 2nd grade, was awesome! 3rd grade, the worst year. My son was picked on 3 times with minimum to no consequences to the sudents. Alot of over looked things. At one time my son was hit in the stomach by a larger kid in his class room. I was not called, nor did anyone try to call me at work, or leave a message. I found out by asking my son on a FRIDAY, before a 3day weekend, that should he be getting picked on, please tell mom because nobody should be picking on you. He then said nobody is, then about 4-5 seconds of a pause, he said, well a kid punched me in the stomach today. I was in shock, not only did I have to ask my son, the school didnt call me. I immediately called the school, and asked to speak with his teacher. When i spoke with her, she said "omg yes, the boy was bigger than david, i thought he was going to hurt him" ok, my son is about 45 pounds so small and a 70lb kid bullying my kid. I said why didnt the teacher on the playground report it, and she said she didnt know. I wait 4 days for the principle to call me. She said she didnt know anything that happened, and that she apologized, and so on. I said that is unexcusable, nobody contacted me. There is always a report that a school should write up whether blood and guts or not. After 6mo of arguments with this principle, she turns it around on me and gets angry AFTER i contacted the school district. I told her, oh NOW you want to talk to me.. because you got in trouble, that's the only reason why i got a call in 24hrs. She turned around and said "how dare you say that I am not doing my job, i take care of these kids" if you feel that your child is not safe here, then maybe it's best if you take your son out"? WOW, why should I have to take out my son, because you cannot handle a situation? Why should I make it easier for her? Not only did the School District NOT call me back, they forwarded my complaint to her, and she called me in her office like i was a 5yr old and not to mention raising her voice to the point where I wanted to walk out. My husband and I were in shock that we were hearing this from a school principle. I don't care if your're a teacher, a principle, a president. you do not have the right to t alk to anyone with such disrespect. The last day of school, my son and his class went to a park to have a BBQ. my son lost his wallet, a lil girl reported that someone lost it. My son goes to his teacher and says i lost my wallet, then she goes and asks the other teacher have you seen a walllet my student lost it she said yeah, i'll hold it until after when we return to school. In the meantime, my son and 4 other kids, go up to the teacher, AFTER the little girl told him that she found it, because he was telling everyone he lost his wallet). My son goes to the teacher, and says did sofia give you my wallet, i lost it, she asked him to describe it, and she has the nerve to say" i don't believe it's your wallet, was there money in there, andhe said no" so then he walks away, THEN he comes back and says can i have my wallet now, she said, describe it, and are you sure there is no money? He said, yes, there is $20, she said "you lied you said you didnt have money, he said he forgot he had money in there" Can you believe this is a teacher telling an 8yr old this? I then call the Principle that day, and she has the nerve to say"omg, i talked to the teacher and she said she did no such thing" so i said" then all 5 kids are lying then? she said I am not sure i was not there. I said you are always going to stick up for the teachers when they are at fault. I told her I was going to take this further and I am now escalating it higher. I am through w/ her as the principle that doesnt know anything and the teacher. I will I shoulnt have to give her power and get rid of me that fast. She doesnt deserve that..
