Teacher Complaint: Danah Steele - Hoke County High
I am wondering does Hoke County Public Schools drug test their faculty or staff before hiring. I have reason to believe that a faculty member by the name of Danah Steele has been under the influence of marijuana or possibly other drugs several times while at work. Not only is my child being negatively influenced by fellow peers who have already chosen to go down the road of drugs but the teachers too! This hurts me to know that our leaders are not being positive leaders. I was suspicious of Ms. Steele's influence a few months ago when I made a visit to the school to talk to my child's teachers about their progress in class. The first time I met Ms. Steele, her eyes were blood shot and she looked liked she was under the influence then, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe she had been crying and having a bad day. To my surprise, I run into her at a mutual friend's home and seen her smoking. She again looked they way she did when I first met her. However, she didnt recognize me as a parent where she taught and continued to misuse marijuana. I have crossed her paths a few times at Hoke County High since then but she did not see me. I am highly upset and dont exactly know what to do so I figured I would start here. If anybody knows what to do in a situation like this please let me know. Thank You.
