Teacher Complaint: Norma Adams - Mellon Ms
On March 4, 2011, I noticed something was wrong with my grades and my classmates' grades. Mrs. Adams teaches Spanish class very poorly. All she does in class is give us 100 point tests on topics she covered poorly in class. In comparison to my grades last year (which was taught by the other Spanish teacher, Mrs. Battista), my grades have dropped from an average of 95% to 73%. Mrs. Adams "teaches" us using only worksheets that she passes out every day for students to complete while she eats crackers at her desk. I also noticed that a lot of my peers have agreed that she should be fired. While she passed back our test that we took recently, I noticed the sad looks on the faces of my classmates. All Mrs. Adams said was, "I don't know what happened but all I can say is Señora Battista's class is much farther ahead than us and I didn't even have to buy stickers last night to put on tests." The only response I had was, "I wonder why?" This brought on laughter and nodding heads in the class.
