Teacher Complaint: Cindy Ennon Willson - Cortez, Manueles Elem
Another kid in my sons classroom decided that it was ok to grab my son from his backpack and try to throw him to the floor, when this was happening my son (who was near the teacher) as a reaction decided to grab the teacher. When the teacher felt the touch she decided to embarrass my kid by yelling on the top of her lungs. I say embarrass because in our school all of the kids are taking to the courtyard with all of the other teachers and students to be picked up by the parents. When I went up to the teacher and try to talk to her about the situation she simply said that "your child should of never grab on to me if someone else was pulling him, he could of made me fall," I try to explain to her that it was only a reaction and nothing else, and she reply by saying "i think he owes me an apology." What I haven't said is that this teacher was also yelling at me while having this conversation. Not only did she embarrass my son but also myself. But I kept my cool and decide to go speak to the principal, but he wasn't there. So I ended up having to speak to his assistant and what he simply responded is that my son should of reacted and treated the other studet as he was treating my son. Im sorry but don't we spend the time teaching our children that violence isn't the answer and if they do they get punished for? This is not the kind of response I wanted and I am dissapointed in the people they hire for teachers and staff.
