Teacher Complaint: Natalie Gurrey - Country Isles Elementary School

I am very disappointed to hear from a friend of mine that there is a French Teacher teaching 3th grade in Country Isles Elementary School.

Is America having problems hiring American descendant teachers in America?

Problem in hiring foreigners in our educational system is that they do not bring the American culture in the classroom.

I fully believe that if you are not brought up in the US, even if you were born elsewhere, what can a French person born and raised in France, understand about our culture and values that can teach children in a US classroom?

I heard complaints about yelling and about disrespecting the students integrity in the classroom. Is this the American Way? We are in a global environment today, but we need our kids to learn the American Way.

I am very disappointed to see that our system is not working and we are worsing our educational quality with these mistakes.

I try to read every complain with an open mind, but really? You have nothing else on the teacher other than the fact he/she is French? And that you heard some gossip about him/her.

Do us all a favor and shoot yourself!
