From day one, i automatically had the suspicion that this man could not teach. Then onward, i began to observe how he teaches. Honestly, i do admit, he is intelligent. He knows a lot of things for Government, but he doesn't know how to teach what he knows! He is monotone, quiet, and inattentive to students concerns and questions. Students are let down, and disappointed. I also believe we, as a class, have to take part in listening to him also, and i do feel that some students, and also I, sometimes take advantage of that. Student's sleep in the first 5 minutes of class, because honestly, we don't do absolutely ANYTHING. For 3 weeks straight, he had told me day after day (when i had to ask him every day about it)that he would make a retest for me. I'm not blaming him that i failed. I failed and it was my fault. but i had nothing to do for most of the 3 weeks i was in there! I asked him, "Mr. Herzberg, is there anything i can do while the retest is being processed?" and he said, "No. There isn't anything. You can just sit in your desk." There was no worksheet i could do or anything. Its ridiculous to think that a lot of good teachers got cut because of the "teacher cut". Its absurd to think that they left him here.
