I sent this e-mail to the Superintendent, and to the Board director, This is very long. I am looking for an Attorney. merwds@cox.net Please contact me!
Hi, Mr. Kowba, and Mrs. Ward,
I can't believe that with over 85 page's of paperwork, many witnesses, recordings, VIDEO'S, and crying student's all trying to inform this School Board about a problem teacher and other staff member's, YOU would not even give us parents or our children, ONE fairly held and recorded meeting! Not even ONE legal Board meeting, NO NOT ONE! You saw NO witnesses, you did not even view any of my compliant package (85 pages)! I can tell this because you have not addressed any of our concern's and we do have MANY! And if you did review my package, then number and list all of my concerns and tell me why they should be discredited,(you won't and you can't because you know that the Teacher was wrong here! You did not even follow your own district procedures, and I can prove it, just look at the two rejection letter's from Brenda, (she can't change that) these are dirty paper trails from her, and I have more! And since many parents and students have been so mistreated and hurt by your (Special Mother/Daughter Class Union), (Taunting from the Teacher), and by the (Unfair School and Board Process) of handling this Case! I will make sure that this case will get a thorough, careful, RECORDED, and DOCUMENTED review in THIS District and in the Court system! I will now contact some of my City Officials and an Attorney to inform them of some of our student and parents concerns. And I will now also seek to Sue the School District for Retaliation and for child harassment! This is not a game! I know that you thought that only for an A, I wouldn't pay the cost for an Attorney, but this case is MUCH MORE than a grade change! This is Child Abuse!
I have also written a 20 page description (I wasn't lying, when I told you this thru e-mail) about this case, describing how it was handled through out more than a year! I was going to send it in to you but It covers all of my concerns AGAIN and plus you should already have this information in the 85 page compliant package that I brought in to Brenda. I still have my original copies and Brenda have seen them and asked me if she could make some more copies of some of the material. She asked me this in the one and only mocked meeting. I did not let her make new copies because I felt as though Brenda and many others in your staff have destroyed the evidence that I have given to them. I will now hand in this material to some City and Court Officials! I would not be this concerned if I did not see Ms. Taylor's behavior, (harassment on video) and I do have the PROOF!!! And using the online progress report system I have shown EXACTLY how Ms. Taylor have been conducting her grading practices! I am not a fool to do this without having SOLID proof!
I thank God that I have finally ended or weathered your School Board process (unfairness), because we have not been listened to AT ALL. We have had tight stomachs, sleepless nights, been so betrayed, and all while waiting for a "Good Samaritan" or just one good HONEST and CONCERNED School Board member to pass through this school system and notice us parent's and children CRYING OUT FOR JUSTICE, but none ever came forward, not even one Luke-warm Christian showed up! And none of you in this ENTIRE SCHOOL SYSTEM would even ASK US, "do you have anything else to offer or say?" WHY HAVEN'T ANY OF YOU? We are in PAIN with the mistreatment and the distrust from your system, and we want to, and will be heard!
I have many witnesses that I have yet to mention their names, in the fear that they will be targeted just as other students have been! Here is just one example of one of my witnesses! She did allow me to inform you!
Just call the Cheer Coach, Ms. Simone, regarding why she pulled her daughter out of Ms. Taylor's class, (hint, Taylor's daughter did not make the cheer team, for she did not TRY OUT, and Ms. Taylor wanted her daughter on the squad anyway), then things got out of hand and then the Coach just pulled her daughter out of that class! She wanted that AP credit! Just ask Ms. Alvarez and Mr. Collins about that situation and about some of the other parent concerns regarding Ms. Taylor! Some other parents did let their voices (concerns) be heard, but all for not! They spoke up and then they just ran from the problem. But they did assure me that they will witness for me and in turn, once again let their concerns be heard !
I REALLY can't believe that not even your own "General Counsel" took on any interest in listening to our children'(S) concerns by at least reviewing and recording ALL of our material while in front of us and by personally speaking to the students and parents. He could not only because of the FACT that it was your school staff that allowed this hostile situation to happen in the first place, and they now need to cover it up, wipe it away, and make it disappear! We know that the School Board doesn't want to have this case documented and filed. But it is not our children's fault and we should not have to suffer for your staff's un professionalism! This will not be a hear-say case, it will be shown in video and listened to via digital recordings! I begged many of you for advice and I wanted to review my material with any of you before this would even have to get this far! I know that you all are UPSET with ME for exposing this case to everyone BUT I was as a crying rape victim, begging for someone to listen to me, and try to help and comfort our children! I could not act out with force or violence, for I am a Godly person and I love my life! Although in this situation, with not even one Board Member listening to our children and/or to one's own self, I can understand how a (unstable and un-Godly) person would lash out at someone, out of frustration and Betrayal! But before this situation I had not understood them, with that type of madness while being frustrated! But I say let God help, for when you are a righteous person and someone bother's you, God will always put them in their place and they wont even be able to cover-up things!, Trust, Truth and GOD is the only way! I do HURT, and on 6-11-10 from 9:45 - 11:30 a.m. Michele Hentz your Parent Support liaison, (there's been 4 on this Case) SAW my PAIN and took note's for 1 1/2 hours, and received some 15 page's of our concern's, (please talk to her)! I thank God for our City and Court Officials, because I found out that this School Board only conduct's their business behind closed doors, that's strange!
When you get a chance to see one of our video's you will be appalled at Ms. Taylor's teaching habits! We know that Ms. Alvarez allowed Ms. Taylor to have her daughter in her classroom, but you will not like the way that she ran and still runs her class! We know that recording someone is illegal, BUT if a student is being HARASSED, then a recording is legal and very important to help PROVE exactly how your staff conducts themselves! I have not shown any of the parents my video's, (yet)! They would really get upset at the way that Ms. Taylor handle's their children. Ms. Alvarez (Principal) know's all about this case and she also knows about some of this years "on going complaints" about Ms. Taylor and she still choose to over look our student's concerns, but only to protect Ms. Taylor, Herself and other's including Board member's, because they all want this case dismissed and forgotten! And that's why Ms. Taylor is still acting up, (I have the proof)!
So please would someone review my COMPLETE complaint package, for your own good not mine (save your self), we are going to Court! Make Brenda show it to you, it's at least 85 pages and it explains a year long story, it's enough information to correct the Grade and to FIRE somebody! I didn't want to do it but now I will show all of my Video's an Recordings! Brenda did a terrible job at handling this case, she made it worse! I guess that my "one bad apple" comment that I wrote to your staff month's ago really came into play here! I know that I am dealing with people that have a little power and that they also may have some corrupt friends! I am concerned but I do HAVE GOD, so I am not worried or afraid of anything Evil that you all may send my way!
Ms. Taylor had never even taught an AP English class before! And these two years that she tried too teach it should not even be recognized as two years of experience, and you will SEE why!
Mrs. Ward I read your statement to Brenda asking her quote "It looks like the grade appeal is at the panel review level. Is that correct Brenda? And is their also a formal compliant against an employee?" Where have you been? (Board Director?) And yes that was my first Complaint! I SAVE your comment's, e-mails, letter's, telephone calls, and everything else concerning this case! I know everything, and Mr. Collins, Ms. Alvarez, Brenda, and other members at the School and at the Board knows this. And they only make many at the school and at this School Board look unprofessional by being dishonest and or keeping our concerns from YOU!
Mrs. Ward, Patricia received an 87.5% and only needed a 90.0% for an A. And I have proved that she deserves at least a 94.0% if not more. You all know that Patricia deserves that! But how can you give that to her without disciplining your staff, when you know that I do want your staffs conduct reviewed! That was my first case! Unprofessional Teacher's and other's! And Patricia has received all A's during her last 5 years of school, so I do know how to follow my child and her Teacher's progress in learning and Teaching! My 8th grader has also received all A's from the 6th - 8th grade! And neither of my kids have not even missed ONE excused absent in the last 5 years. So don’t act like we don’t know how to keep up with our work. Patricia has even SAVED every assignment from that class. Collins and Alvarez could have solved this problem in March of last year, you will see, and then none of YOU would even be involved and your School Boards Evil side (ways of covering up things) would not have been EXPOSED!
My daughter and I are deeply saddened by Ms. Alvarez's and Taylor's cover-up (retaliation) tactics. Will you let Ms. Alvarez allow another teacher to have her own child in classroom? And anyway how do you feel about this happening at the high school level and in OUR neiborhood? This is not a joke! We were all forced to deal with it and many only got frustrated and dropped the class!
My 8th grader is going to attend Lincoln High this year! We don't run from problems, we only believe in God, we come to school everyday, be on our best behavior, and try to do our VERY BEST academically! We will not RUN! I do welcome you to try and fix this problem OR just inform me of your thought's regarding this matter, by this Friday, because after that I will handle this Case somewhere else! This is my last contact with you, I promise! This is a child harassment Case, caused by retaliation for complainimg!
