Teacher Complaint: Lillian Soldano - A To Zoo Preschool

I sent my son to this school already knowing his ABCs and counting 1-20. After a few months, he's confused about his alphabets, forgot the alphabet song he knew so well, and can't count past 10 anymore. He was excited to start school and even enjoyed going in the beginning but slowly told us stories about "Ms. Lily putting him in the corner" and "Ms. Lily turning his chair around in circle time". It was obvious from school trips and after a few observations, that this teacher has no patience for younger children. She even dislikes the class assistant so much that she interrupts her and refuses to let any parents talk to her. This is her first year teaching and she just got "certified" and has told other parents this is her last year and she is looking for another job. (Thank the Lord). She has recommended several children in the class to get evaluations because they "disrupt her in class" and has accused these children of having ADD/ADHD. After an extensive evaluation from a separate, outside company, one child passed everything and was determined to be at a level 1-1.5 years ahead of his age with no signs of any deficits (contrary to what she said) and all doctors involved agreed the child showed absolutely no signs of any problems but the teacher was found to not be in control of her class during an observation. She also contradicted herself by giving one student a sterling report card with no problems and then 2 weeks later saying that the same student is disruptive, disobedient, and does not listen in class and recommended an evaluation for ADHD. I would not allow my child to be abused by these "teacher" and am trying to file a complaint to have her certification "revoked" so she can no longer abuse children. BEWARE!

UPDATE--Just found out she's NOT certified BUT was presented as "certified" at the beginning of the school year by the A-to-Zoo school owners to all the parents at introduction. And found out that filing a complaint at this close to the end of the school year will not result in much. The board of ed. will not begin an investigation at the end of the school year. Funny...maybe that's why she waited until the end of the school year? Or maybe to ensure she got paid for the full year. The owners should have fired her months ago. Now my son hates school and does not want to go at all! He clings to us like he's about to fall off a cliff. He loved it in the beginning of the year and barely even said goodbye but would run into class.

what this person seems to leave out is that he claims this teacher was abusive and not teaching his son anything the funny part about it is if you felt so strongly about this why did you let the supposed "abuse" continue and not take your son out smh @ you shame on you!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have never put him in there if someone was brave enough to do post something like this about the school before. I'm sure this was not the first time and all this didn't come out until after they received my final payment, very coincidentally! Shame on me??? But the teacher and the school are out of business because no one registered for the very next year!! Hmmmm... I guess I'm not the only one that felt the same way. Also, I would say shame on the owner who ran out in front of her school on graduation day and attacked the father and family while they were locked in their car trying to escape. She stood in front of the truck blocking their exit, screaming and cursing and hitting the truck. Shame on her and that disgusting behavior...but as I said, I guess people saw for themselves and just went elsewhere.
