Teacher Complaint: Miss. Sandra Bratsch - Kingwood H S
Miss. Sandra L. Bratsch, She was working in Aldine in a Class set-up for Spanish speaking kids to learn English.
This is my story. I came to America crossing the Reo- Grande with my parents on my father's shoulders at 6 years old. We had no money and no family but the community of others that came across the river that night. My mom and dad eventually moved to Aldine. We were Legal now and so very happy to be part of this great country. My parents worked, paid taxes. Our apartment was beautiful we each had owe own beds with mattresses. We had food, clothes and this was Heaven. Miss. Bratsch devistated our dreams. One day in class I spoke Spanish she yelled and screamed that I was a dumb stupid immigrant that did not belong here. She placed me in the closet of her classroom. It was hot, no ventilation and the story of the refugies locked in a truck was remembered by all. Especially a child, the end of the day Miss. Bratsch let me out of that horrible little no ventilation closet. I cried when I told my mother. My mother went to the school and made a complaint. That is when the police came to our apartment all hours of the night from 5am-12nidnight for one month straight. We eventually moved years later a teacher that had the same problem from Miss. bratsch had got copies of the calls and Miss. Bratsch used other names but the origional call made was her number. Miss. Sandra Bratsch did eventually loose her certifications to teach younger children from things like this. Now I have heard she is doing worse things to students and teachers at Kingwood High School. She should be locked away like she has done to other students or their parents in Prison.
