Teacher Complaint: The Entire Cis Department - William Rainey Harper College
I always give people the benefit of a doubt, but after a while, I usually get confirmation of what I suspect is going on. Now, there are those meant to teach and those who aren't. For most of you in the CIS department, that means that most of you aren't fit to teach. You claim you use the grading system on the syllabi for your classes, but you don't. It looks like you're just pulling random grades and numbers out of who knows where and giving them to whoever you feel like. The department head is a coward who can't face the fact that the CIS department is helping drive students off of WRHC's campus. You teachers are also helping with that. Who do you think is paying your salaries? The parents, students, and some government and student loans are helping pay your salaries. I know times are tough due to the recession, but trying to get students to not come back and not grading them in a fair, ethical, legal, honest manner is what's driving them away. When you've driven them away, who then will pay your salaries? Will you still have a job after you've driven them all away? You have confirmed my suspicions. I'm on to what you're doing, and it isn't right. Thanks to your unethical, illegal, crooked, dishonest manner of grading, I won't be returning to WRHC. I was there only one semester, and it wasn't my fault you can't grade right, but it is what it is. I hope you all learn something from this and find something you're good at, other than driving students off. Thank you all for wasting not only my time, but the time of all of the students you all taught this semester.
