Teacher Complaint: Amanda Bahnsali - Wheeling High School
You give way too much homework, to the point where it's beyond excessive. None of your students' other teachers do that. Do you think your students have no social lives, activities they're involved in, or other classes besides your own? Your students have at least 2-3 other classes that they have homework for, plus after school activities, and a social life. The other teachers your students have get it. Why don't you? Your students have to make drastic changes to their lives just to accommodate all the ridiculous amounts of homework you give them each night. High school students should be getting 7-12 hours of good sleep each night. With the amount of homework you give them, they're lucky if they get even 1 hour of sleep each night. Many of your students are up until 2 or 3 in the morning, barely get enough sleep, and then have to get up bright and early, just to make sure they're in their seats on time for their first class of the day. Either lessen the amount of homework you're giving or find a new job. I'm sure you're a nice enough lady, but giving way too much homework has to stop!
