Teacher Complaint: M. Pearson - John Jay Elem School
I want to register a formal complaint on M. Pearson. She has been unfairly grading children for years. She has continually given unfair grades, falsified grades, given assignments that are not age appropriate for students in her classes and failed children or tried to fail them for no apparent reason. I have had meetings with Principle Williams regarding her on several occasions to no avail. I have been told on more than one occasion that his hands are tied because there are no other teachers available to this school. I do not understand why our children have to be subjected to poor education from teachers that do not want to do anything but collect a paycheck, why do our children have to be subjected poor education, from uncaring, tenured teachers. What does tenure have to do with children receiving a decent education? This teacher has been arrested on several occasions in front of the children, she has had physical altercations with both students and parents and nothing has been done. What is the process that I need to follow in order to have this teacher relocated or removed from her post? She is unfit to teach any student and needs to be replaced with someone that wants to educate our children.
