Teacher Complaint: Kate Horn - Greenland Pines Elementary School
The entire special needs program is operated by kids who were all full time college kids last year. Having NO experience, they were never able to care for my son past lunch because they did not know how to feed him. They are oblivious to the fact that autistic kids have strange diets and have frequent stomache issues and would send my son home for diarhea. Autistic kids are prone to allergies but since Kate Horn is clueless about these things she mistook an allergic reaction to laundry detergent for chicken pox!! All progress reports say NO IMPROVEMENT. No surprise since the only thing Kate Horn is good at is sending kids home while she still gets paid. She also sent a note home to all parents asking them to..."RIGHT suggestions in the space provided". I'd like to know what college gave this nitwit a diploma! The final straw was when Kate Horn decided that the diaper rash I had already seen a DOCTOR about was suspicious enough to call social services. My son attended Greenland Pines for 3 months. Special needs kids require more than a babysitter. They deserve teachers who know what they are doing. I DID receive lovely crafts with my son's name on them that I KNOW he didnt make because he CAN'T do much.
