Teacher Complaint: Mrs. Nyman - Gegan El
Okay...where do I begin? In spite of the fact that Mrs. Nyman isn't my regular classroom teacher (my classroom teacher is Mrs. Baer, and she's really nice), she does work in the break room-where I go when I'm furious in class. She says that she's nice, optimistic, and a good rule-follower, but she is not. First of all, she pushes me around. She says that she follows the rules, but I asked just that morning, "How do the rules tell you that you have to push kids?" and then she says "You're the one that pushes me...so?" and really, I have used physical force a few times because she was pushing me and just hitting me and just doing other things that is NOT okay for a teacher to be doing, and then she places blame on ME. WHEN IN THE WORLD WILL SHE LEARN?! Secondly, also that morning, there was a question about cursing, and I reply "Well...You have sworn 2 times!" and she says "Like what?" or something like that, and I say "The OMG word!" and she says it. "Oh my God?" she asks, in reply. After I say that it's a VERY bad word, she comes back with "It's your opinion. It's your opinion. To me, it is NOT a bad word! It's just YOUR opinion!" and keeps on going on, in anger. She always tries to make me ANGRIER after breaks than before breaks, and, an astonishing 97% of the time, she SUCCEEDS. I talked to Mrs. Halbach (an OK teacher that elps me out with friendships) and she said we'd meet tomorrow, January 4th. It is really an issue we need to address NOW. Teachers should not have the right to be abusive to their students.
