Teacher Complaint: Mrs. Rienecker - Bermudian Springs Hs

This teacher acts like a Professor not a high school teacher! She is going to have our kids not graduating. If she wanted to be a professor she should be at a college working not Bermudian Springs High School. What can we do to get her stopped? I have done a lot of home work on this teacher and it has been an ongoing issue a this school with her. Do I need an attorney or what are our options to have her stopped immediately. I have parents requesting their kids not have her or they will pay for their kids to take a certain class just not to be put in hers due to it being near impossible to pass her class. I am ready to take action asap.

Yes, let's all take action. There's nothing worse than a teacher with high expectations who challenges students. How the heck is THAT going to prepare them for college or real life? Let the kids coast, I say. And give them all an A just for showing up! Why stop with these evil and unreasonable teachers? Any boss that expects too much from my little baby is going to hear from me!

As a Berm alumni who has had her before, I would cite her as one of the teachers who most prepared me for college classes.

There is nothing unreasonable about her teaching style; she sets an attainable standards and expects young adults to act like young adults. Whether the student is interested in higher education doesn't really matter; all that is required to pass her classes (at any level, Academic to Honors) is a little motivation and sense of personal responsibility.

Also, her name is Mrs. Reinecker, not "Rienecker."

I want to add: as someone with both a younger sibling and friends who are still in high school at BSHS, I find the original poster's desire to rob future generations of a quality education to be most offensive.

This complaint is a few months old and hopefully the steam has had time to cool off; but if the parent is as serious as he/she claims, then let the record show that removing Mrs. Reinecker would only further damage the educational capabilities of a school that has already lost three quality educators in the past few years.
