Teacher Complaint: Elda Robbins - Wheeling High School
PE is supposed to be fun and enjoyable, not boot camp or Hell on Earth! You aren't training students to be sent off to Iraq or Afghanistan in a few months! You're teaching freshman PE! Everyone can here you loud and clear because you always yell at the top of your lungs! Not only are you eventually going to damage your vocal cords, but some of your students and fellow staff members might go deaf from all of your yelling. Some of them have to use megaphones, so their PE classes can here them over your intense yelling!
Also, students, alumni, and parents would really appreciate if you didn't talk trash about them behind their backs. We all know you have your pets, but it's extremely rude to talk trash about those who aren't your pets behind their backs. No one likes a nasty gossip. Your behavior at the reception after the orchestra concert earlier this week was not only rude. It was down-right unprofessional. Orchestra students and their families came to meet the new orchestra director and tell her what a great concert it was. After my family talked with the orchestra director, you loudly said my name. When I looked at you, you suddenly became very quite and leaned in to whisper something to the orchestra director. Unfortunately for you, I heard what you whispered to the orchestra director, and what you said wasn't professional or respectful. It was down-right rude and insensitive. The next time you decide to trash-talk about someone to someone else, please have the courage to say it to the face of the person you're trash-talking.
