Teacher Complaint: Dr. Terri Pixlee - Columbia Basin Secondary School

WELL Where to begin. Over all Pixlee is human being. BUT in these classes you can only be one of two types of students. Type number one. A favorite. Where you must be a member of FBL, or a student aid, you must be willing to go on to college, please note: that if you ask who likes Pixlee it is only these students who do. If your plans include going to work after High school, then you are a complete fuck up who she will intentionally slow the class down just to push you through just to get you to graduate.
Example: Can you write your name on your paper? Has everyone one wrote their name on their paper? Can you write your name on the top left corner of your paper? Write your name on your paper. Has everyone wrote your name on your paper? Ready to go. Ok everyone has wrote there name on there paper. Right? Ok by now you need to have written your name on the top left corner of your paper.
For those of you who think this is because the class is stupid and she has to repeate it like this over and over again. they are not. thoses kids are messing with her and have by high school know they need to pay attention to pass a class so her slowing the class down like she does only makes her look stupid. Screw the ones not paying attention. this teacher only does this because she plays favorites.
This teacher does pick favorites, and takes way too much on. IF there is a school event dont even bother asking other teachers to do it. Just go straight to dr. pix. Other teachers are sure to already know this. If you decide to turn an assighment in on time or not. Expect that it will be put in when she feels like it or expect that it will be there when grades are due to be turned in. After All this teacher " Has a Life outside of school" and would never be able to do her job within the time she is givin. I mean thats great that a teacher is willing to give time outside of school and do so much but if you cannot accomplish what needs to be done basicly as a teacher, grade things, lesson plans, teacher prep things, Please PLEASE dont take on any more untill you can get the basics correct. learn to add before you multlply.

i agree.pix plays favorites and doesnt help the people who really need it.she needs to slow her roll and let people catch up on work in her bs classes.

yup i agree with whoever wrote this becauase she picks her favorite students and i dont think she is a verry good teacher

ok, first of all, coming from a student that is thought of as a favorite to her, she does not pick favorites. On trips we even have conversations about how immature some people are and she tells me she doesnt pick favorites and doesnt hate anyone. She has no reason to. Just because some people are in FBLA or ASB it doesnt mean we get better treatment, we are just around her more. She is the only business certified teacher in the building so she is the only person who can take on such things as FBLA, ASB and every other classs she has. Dont complain, because most everything fun that happens at this school comes from her and all the students who take THEIR OWN TIME to put on these extra activities.
The main reason why people are getting failing grades in her class are the lack of effort on the assignments. If you did it correct, the way to book told you or you listened the first time, you would understand. Im tired of stupid immature people talking all damn day causing her to have to stop talking in the first place. The seniors are two weeks behind and granted she is still letting them turn in late work. It irritates me to hear these things about great teachers who work so hard for their students and the students take MAJOR advantage of it.
& for her grading, yea i dont agree with it because it causes me to have a lower grade when she only gives us an average grade up to the point of grading. But on the other hand the people who are getting bad grades should be happy they are getting an average C if they turned in the assignment because their actual grade for it may be lower.
Students need to come to thier senses and understand the teacher isnt supposed to baby you like she is doing. You should grow up, do the work right, and make the grade or ship the hell out. WAKE UP AND DO THE WORK!!!!!

Ok So you know Randy. I didnt write any of these.
My oppnion of Pix is that I dont like her. she is a hard teacher. her grading scale is weird. yet it is possable to pass her class even if you are not a favorites. AND She does play favorites even if she doesnt mean to. All teachers do. I just think these packets are dumb. But ill make it. f*** all the dumb kids that dont pass. And she should stop waiting for them She does take way too much time waiting for them to the point that it pisses me off. just keep movin on. even if im behind right now ill catch up. I know what i have to do and ill do it.
