My math teacher cannot teach and is always unfair. She assigns over 60+ problems every night for a total of 4 points yet if a student does one wrong step, it's automatically a 75%. When I asked why I deserve this grade, she keeps saying I made a mistake but refuse to tell me what the mistake is. In addition, the problems she assigns takes over one hour to complete and it requires a calculator yet she takes points off asking why I do not show work when the work is clearly there.

For example, she never taught us how to solve logarithm that is involving decimals by hand. The direction in the textbook clearly says to solve to find the value. Yet she would say I did not read the directions and then when I open the textbook to show her, she would take my paper and analyze my other problems and say I messed up then walk away.

Just because I do not follow her method, she believes that it is wrong. In addition to her thick Korean accent, she cannot teach. Everytime I ask her to explain the material, she would walk away from me. Sometimes she comes back to ask me what is it that I want in a way that shows she's very annoyed. However, she does not really come back to answer my questions but rather yell at me for not understanding.

She would only teach the class by giving easy problems simply because she cannot explain the complicated ones due to her poor english. Then, when the tests and quizzes come, no one would understand how to solve it because it is something she have not taught us. The other day when I was taking a test, I asked her what a word means and she goes "I'm not gonna teach you it." Her grading is extremely unfair as she takes points off for small reasons. If an answer is not an exact match with her answer (not simplified), the student recieve no credit whatsoever even when the steps and work is all correct. I have no problem with her not giving curves or any extra credit, yet I cannot stand her animosity towards me.

I do not understand why she picks favorites and always attacking certain students for their mistakes. I am not at all a bad student and I have never have a teacher that hates me as much for no reason. I do not talk in class nor do I do anything disruptive. I never disrespected her as I always greet her with a hello and a smile. But all seems effortless and she continues to dislike me. I do not feel like trying to make her like me because nothing seems to work. During lunch time, I would stay in her classroom and study. I always have to study so much for her class that I am forced to neglect my other IB classes simply because I don't want my grade to go bad in her class since there is no way to bring it up. As a student who takes a lot of honor classes, I understand the work twice as much more than regular classes. Yet, I cannot stand her attitudes towards me and other students. Furthermore, her teaching method is messed up. Before a quiz or a test, she would teach us new material. By doing this she confuse us and most students end up failing.

She is extremely prejudice and she hate students. Someone like her should not be allow to teach simply because she shows up just for the money. By taking this class, I am forced to study independently on my own using outside sources. When I have questions and concerns, I cannot reply on her to help me. What is the point of having a teacher like her? It is obvious that no student should deserve another adult that does nothing but criticizes and yells constantly. I have enough adults to verbally abuse me and I do not need another one who I have to constantly deal with in school as well. As a student, I must speak for others who agrees that we do not need anymore stress in our lives. Teacher are supposed to guide us to learn and be the best that we can be. They are not suppose to put us down, make us cry, and feel miserable. Because of her, I now hate the subject that I used to love a lot. I simply dislike math now and it is entirely her fault.

she is very unfair never helps on any homework assignment or classwork she always works away or she says read the direction she never even teaches every two days of the class we have to write dumb notes down that have nothing to-do about what were learning
