Teacher Complaint: Ms. Barbara Cousins - Curie Metropolitan High School
Unfortunately, there isn't a feature to write about more than one instance. Having to deal with a teacher who sits at her desk the whole period and mock and complain at her students is unbearable. When you have an incorrect grade, shouldn't it be looked at? A student shouldn't be told "Write it down, I don't have time for you". It's her job. My current grade in the class is a D. I've never had such a terrible grade. Especially since I've taken Honors English all 3 of my years at Curie. She distills fear in the students. Everyone is afraid to answer her proposed inquiries because she will laugh at you if you're wrong. When the school principle came in to observe the class one day, she put on a show for him. She actually got up from her desk and wrote notes on the board! Imagine how that makes the students like myself feel. Ms. Cousins has been teaching at Curie for years. She's older in age. I don't know if she was a better teacher back then, but as of right now, going to her class is unbearable. Another complaint to note is that We the students never know when an assignment is due. Today in class was the final straw. She complained at the whole class, mocking our "papers". She never stated it had to be 5 paragraphs. It's quite obvious that no one knew about it of no one did it! I am absolutely dismayed and shooken up by the way she treats us. I think it's time for change. One way or another.
