Teacher Complaint: Eric Belby - Pleasant Valley High School
This has been an on-going thing. Mr. Belby is a horrible teacher. Never once have I gotten below a 50% in a class. He gives no notes, cracks the worst jokes, and compare things such as geometry with sex ed. Twice he has missed ten minutes of class by either being somewhere else or watching track race on TV. He worries more about cross-country and track then his math students. Sometimes his examples make no sense and instead of helping his students work out a problem he does it himself. Mr. Belby gets carried away about something off topic that he goes on and on and then we'll have no time to go over the homework or do a test or quiz. I've failed a numerous amount of his tests and often me and my friends have to cheat off of each other because 1) some of the things on the test we have not learned and 2) hes never watching us. The last test we took, students did so horrible on it he had to drop 2 grades. This hasn't been the first time and I know many of his students would agree with me.
