Teacher Complaint: Miss. Smith (principal) - Woodrow Wilson High School
I am a kid that gets dropped off at school and last year we(my parents and I) had no problems with the way we was getting dropped off. We would drive to the front doors and get let out where all of the students stand and wait for the bells. Miss. Smith changed it where we have to drive through the student parking lot (where we frequently get stopped by the security guard that way students may cross the road to walk to the front doors) and then go around to the back of the school and get let off in the teachers parking lot. Another bad thing about that is the kids that have special needs gets let off right there (which I have no problem with because I understand they have special needs but the bus has to stop traffic once again so they may get let off.) BUT the bus's make a U-turn in the football field parking lot and think they have the right to cut in front of the parents. One time this happened the buss driver would have side swipped my step-mothers car if she hadn't slammed on her brakes. Then we have to stop to let teachers park and cross the road and we (the students) have to cross the road. In my opinion this is -A LOT- more hectic than it should be and truthfully I think it makes traffic worse!
