Why am I glad to be done with Mr. O’Connell’s class? Because he’s a moron! Because he’s the most selfish, immature, lazy man you will ever meet! Because he cares more about maintaining his popularity than teaching you anything meaningful! You think he cares about you? You don’t mean anything to him—none of us do. He’s just trying to get attention. He soaks it up like a sponge. He’s too weak-minded to see any of his flaws. He doesn’t have the emotional capacity to acknowledge his imperfection. He has absolutely no humility! He pretends to friendly and approachable—but it’s just an act! The truth is, he won’t even try to meet you half way. He is the only inhabitant of his conceited little universe. Everything he does is perfect, everything he says is perfect—and if you dare question his perfection, well, there’s obviously something wrong with you. Good students aren’t the students who try hard, they’re the students who praise him and worship him and feed his swollen ego. He’s too busy looking in the mirror to see how the rest of the world works. He meanders around the room, trying to impress you with his big words and fancy clothes, but if you actually ask him a question—if you actually care about learning—he won’t even meet your eye! He’s not here to teach you anything, he’s here to maintain his image. He wants to win a popularity contest that only exists in high school! You treat him like a god, but he couldn’t survive for two seconds in the real world. It’s pathetic! He’s the emperor with no clothes! If you could only see how he’s manipulating you! You think he’s perfect? He won’t admit to any of his mistakes; he’s too arrogant to apologize for not teaching us anything we needed to know for the tests. I’m not being whiny because of my grade (I have no reason to complain: I got an A in the class) I just want to warn you to STAY AWAY!!!
