Teacher Complaint: Mrs Yoon - Southeast High School
Today Mrs yoon accused my son of stealing her iphone. The teacher consfiscated my sons iphone and told him that it looked the one that had been stolen from her. When i came to the school to speak to Mrs Yoon and asked her why she believed that this was her phone her response was because it looks just like my phone and he has the same accessory on the phone that i had. When i made an attempt to show her and Mr. killspatrick the receipt for my sons phone they both became very disrespectful and threaten to scort me out of the school and to call the police. When i finally got the dean to talk to me and tell my story then they all apologized and i was able to get my sons phone back. I believe that this teachers action were very inappropriate, as an adult you do not accuse anyone let alone a kid of stealing from you unless you have solid proof. If she felt that this phone may possibly be hers she should have contacted the parents or filed a report to have the phone serial number verified. I child or a parent should not be treated like this by a teacher who doesnt have proof and ultimately was wrong for making such accusations,
