Teacher Complaint: Julie Rogers - North Ridge El
The principal, Booher, called me the day before Thanksgiving break to notify me that my son had his life threatened by another student, and they decided to call the Police on the threat-maker. After my son returned to school from break, Julie Rogers sent a note home with my son stating she had revoked his privileges for going "near" the threat-maker, who as it turns out, threatened my son's life just then, a second time, with no recourse from the adults. She heard his plea, but stated to him, "Yeah Right!" Instead of recognizing the pattern of threats from the threat-maker, she decided to blame the victim for putting her through the trouble of having to do her job. She also stated to my son that she will start writing down anytime he goes near the threat-maker as a means of creating a narrative of metrics designed to get my son in trouble, with evidence. How is it a reasonable expectation that the students go to the same school and have the same classes and lunch together, that the burden of avoidance should be placed upon my son as his responsibility, in order that he is no longer victimized? I cannot understand this illogical sequence of events from someone who is supposed to be a responsible adult. Or perhaps she is friends with the threat-maker's family and is doing her best to protect the offender. This threat-maker has also had problems with other students, and many kids feel like this kid is just a big fat bully. I gave the school every opportunity to resolve this matter but since they have not done this freely, I am happy to motivate their behavior.

When something similar happened to my child (he came home with marks on him and the principal retalated against him. When I finally had to take legal action because the abuse was getting out of hand my case was not strong because my documentation was not strong enough.
please we should all watch out and stand up for our kids against this type of abuse from school administrators. They are supposed to protect our children not contribute to the problem. They are very unprofessional in how they handle situations.
Good Luck and I hope your child stays safe.
