Teacher Complaint: Mrs. Beesley - Our Mother Of Good Counsel

This is not only my complaint, but rather a majority of the parents' complaint as well. She is seriously "unfit" to teach this grade level. she expects 3rd graders or 7 & 8 year old children to act like adults. Adults that in my estimation less than 5% of the adult population acts like. She wants to blame her unworthinesss and deficiencies in teaching methods on the behaviors of these young children. In addition, it is my belief that she seriosly favors girls over boys, which can and will take its toll on those boys. If those boys are doing the same exact work as the girls, they WILL receive lesser grades than those girls, GUARANTEED! She does not take the time, individually, that is required of her, choosing to be a "teacher", to actually teach the children. She has a set plan of what she is going to attempt to do with her class and if one, more or several of the children in her class don't fall in line with her approaches or ways of doing things, that are insufficient, ineffective and sub-standard, to say the least, she is unwilling to do her job and take the time both with the child(ren) or the parents to potentially correct or enchance the learning or the comprehension of the specific child. She "clumps" all students in together and does not respond to each individuals needs. She is the WORST so-called teacher I have come across in my forty years in the Los Angeles area! In my opinion, it is the DUTY of ANY teacher to decipher what each and every child may be lacking and work with the parents and the child together to enhance that child's capabilities, but to the contrary, this woman complains to the parents of that chuild and blames the lack of learning on that child's indiviuality! She should take notes from Ms. Therese Peters (the best teacher this side of the Miss. river over @ Holy Trinity, 4th grade) and even then, should have to prove herself in order to be allowed to teach! The school is not much better as when pressed for reasoning regarding Mrs. Beesleys short-comings, they chose to play the us against you game and sided with Mrs. Beesleys inadequate ways versus our children's best interests. I fully understand the thought process behind that way of thinking, but as parents who are paying for our children to attend these schools, it's and old-school, good old boys (or in this case, good old girls) way of dealing with the short-comings of not only their employees but our children's future, or the future of our children. Please believe and trust in this assertion of Mrs. Beesley's skills, or in this case, lack thereof as her ways and methods are NOTHING BUT COUNTER-PRODUCTIVE, again, TO SAY THE LEAST!
