Teacher Complaint: Ms. Chung - Alhambra High
Linda Sivard (Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing) Coordinator and Ms. Chung (Teacher for Deaf) are allowing unqualified, non-certified signers (NOT INTERPRETERS) to sign in classrooms, mainstream classes, assemblies, staff meetings, as well as meetings between Deaf students and office staff.
This school district does not follow ADA Federal law concerning only Certified Interpreters to interpret. They are taking jobs away from Qualified, Certified Interpreters that have put in their time in education and improving their skills.
