Teacher Complaint: David Schuler - Township High School District #214
I don't know what's going through your head, but adding the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) program to WHS, changing WHS's name, and spending $50,000 of taxpayers' money to do all that is a dumb idea. STEM is endorsed by Obama. We both know Obama's tack record during the past year. WHS has failed to make AYP (annual yearly progress for three years now. If it fails to make AYP after the state testing done in Spring 2010, you can kiss your plans and hopes to change WHS into a school with a new name and the STEM program goodbye. Also, you and the administrators at the six high schools in your district are driving good teachers away. You have been rude, condescending, and ignorant towards their needs and the fact that they're doing their jobs. As a WHS alumni, I can attest to this. While I was attending WHS and in the few years since I've graduated, more than half of the teachers who were there during the four years I was there and the two, almost three years since I graduated have retired, gone to teach at other schools, or quit because of the schools' administrations or you and your administration. You are running a corrupt campaign that is flushing your district down the toilet faster than our economy is receding. It's disgusting and immoral. Instead of bringing in quality, you're bringing in garbage. All the garbage you've brought in since you became superintendent of Township High School District #214 is starting to smell so bad, it's foul. Please do the communities you serve a favor. Either do your job and do it well or get out and find a new job!
