Teacher Complaint: Lori Elgin - Pa Learners Online Regional Cy

Lori Elgin is the absolute WORST teacher I have ever had. I met her Spetember 1st 2010 when I was beginning my Freshman year at PA Learners Online. She was going to be my Geometry teacher. She seemed really nice as first but as the year progressed I started to hate her more and more. She always, always, always makes a mistake on assignments. Either she blows it off like it's nothing or she makes it like it was the student's fault. And she always runs the class late making students late for our other classes. She goes over the lesson and some example problems in class but they have not been related to the assignments we do on our own yet. In our school there are help sessions on the days we don't have classes. If you don't do as good as she would like on an assignment she requires you to come to a help session. I totally understand that, in fact I think it's a great idea. But when we come to the help session she is not much help. She wants us to do the problem ourselves. No explanation of what we did wrong or guidence to help us with our mistake. All she does is scriutinize what we did wrong. The same goes for in class. I like to say she has star students. Ones that are on top of things and always answering. When she askes a question she says "Good job so and so!" from the first person she gets an answer from and moves on-giving the other kids no chance to even answer. Then she starts calling kids out. "I haven't heard from you, why haven't you answered, are you understanding this?" And she's not saying it in a concerned voice but a scruitizing one. She might as well be saying to me "You idiot!"
She uses this voice all the time with one student in particular. This student seems to me to be a little awkward and maybe not the smartest. I feel so bad because Mrs. Elgin uses this scruitinizing voice to answer every question the student asks. To the most innocent questions it's like she's saying "You should know that, stupid."
All I'm trying to do now is hold on until the last day of school.
