Teacher Complaint: Lazaro Lopez - Wheeling High School
One student at your school was wearing a black shirt that had a bat and the words "I'm a black girl" on it. The students at your school didn't see it as racist. They saw it as funny because this student was always wearing black clothes. While I can see how you could have viewed it as a racist t-shirt, I believe that ordering this student to put her gym shirt over her t-shirt or face detention was wrong and inappropriate. It was an abuse of your power. You clearly don't know your students too well and can't serve your school well as a principal. It's time to step down!
