Teacher Complaint: Principal - Jackson Elementary
I don't have children that go to this school, but I have a friend that her kid goes there. She tells me that the teacher won't let her kid go on recess break because her parent didn't VOLUNTEER to help in class. Is this acceptable????? Blackmailing the student about recess if their parent chooses not to volunteer.
What is their meaning of VOLUNTEER-blackmailing the students?
What makes me mad is that the principal allow this to happen and what also makes me mad is that the classroom had a fieldtrip to go to the zoo, but it was cancel because parents didn't volunteer. IS THIS ACCPETABLE???

On your second point about the "canceled trip." I believe it was the right decision to make regardless of any administration excuse they may have given you. I have been to many field trips and let me tell you, if parent do not volunteer I would not even consider sending my kids. I always volunteer because most teacher WILL NOT care for students. They go Scot free during the trips. The parents assume all the responsibilities while this "lazy" teachers enjoy their trip.
I think some teachers actually hate kids, bully them, and pin students against each other. It is horrendous to think at least 25-30 kids will have to go through this teacher next year!
