Teacher Complaint: Adams, Francine, Some Staff - Huntington H S

My son and another student were punished to AEP (alternative education program) aka "all day detention" or "sac" for 38 plus days for a hearsay rumor. The video shows absolutely no wrong action taking place. The "eyewitnesses" for the school were too far away. The "witness/s" for the kids were right there with them. due process was not followed. No evidence was allowed or even put into thought by the deciding lead at the hearing. The school has a bad habit of pushing poor/mildly troubled kids out of their school into a local alternative school called "pride". There is no pride in existence in that building. Just a place to hide the town's shame, as they like to see it. The poor and/or troubled youth of america are disintegrating further due to poor support from the educators of today for lack of willpower to simply try and help them raise their grades/calm their troubles. In my day, teachers stayed after to help students in need. Now, they simply make a mad dash for their cars to get out and get home and away from it all. what has happened to our educational system that even the teachers don't want to be "involved" anymore, and kid's rumor mill is the bible?

I wish I could give you words of wisdom, but not really knowing what your child was really accused of and sent to "Pride" for doesn't make things any better either. I would hold on and make copies of that video, keep any document related to this and thereafter, follow the schools policies for complaints, appeals and chain of command and probably also try to change schools if necessary if given the opportunity. I am NO expert in this type of situation, and this is just my personal opinion. I hope everything resolves for your child.


Please remember, Not every teacher is EVIL!
