Teacher Complaint: Corinne Florit - Ps 60 Woodhaven School

This teacher hates her students. She calls them "stupid" and referees to them as the "stupid class". How they don't know anything and can't learn anything. She keeps going on about how stupid they are and there parents are worse.l how they have no money and they shouldn't be in the school. These kids deserve better then a teatcher calling them names behind there back. No student is "stupid" its there job to teach them what they don't know if the students don't learn its the teachers fault.

The complaint against Ms. Florit is absolutely erroneous. She is one of the most dedicated teachers I know. She is an advocate for her students and cares very much for them. She has wonderful relationships with the parents of her students as well as her fellow teachers. She cares about the well-being of the entire school community. She works tirelessly to ensure that her students are comfortable in her class and are learning every day. She is a role model to her students and her fellow teachers as well. I hope one day to be as gifted a teacher as Ms. Florit.

I have worked with Ms. Florit for many years and she has earned my respect as an educator. She is extremely competent and caring. The comments made about her in this complaint are unfounded.

I believe every word in this complaint. I have had first hand experience with this teacher and it wasn't pleasant. I don't think co-workers should be allowed to post seeing how I'm sure there friends of Ms.florit and will not say anything but good things for there friend. Its funny how both post were put up the same day around the same time. Only a teachers work can determine how good the teacher really is.
