Teacher Complaint: Mrs. Grimes - Double File Trail El
I have two children that go to this school. And the pace at which these kids are taught is appalling. I have a child that is in first grade and her teacher will not spend more than part of day teaching something new. And when my child does not understand and cannot get it right away, then I get told that my child has some kind of learning disability. My child has been coming home crying and complaining that the teacher is going too fast and it is hard to catch on. I try to convey this to the teacher but she just snubs me and tells me that my child is not meeting their expectations. I am furious with this school. How do they expect children to learn this way? And when your child does not live up to what they want, then they make you fell bad as though you are not doing enough to help your child succeed. My child tells me that they hate school and don't want to go back. I understand why people are trying to transfer to get away from this place.
