Teacher Complaint: Autumn Stinson - Durfee Elementary
i,m the parent of a boy with autism, he,s in a asd class setting,my son was giving a special gift by the principal, he took back to school the next day, the teacher took it from him that monday,she saids she was teaching him accountability,me &his father get that, so that thursday, 3 days later, my husband asked her about the item in question, she told him she,s was keeping it, he requested to see it, he said she then told him she threw it in the garbage and began to pull it out of the trash, he express to her she was out of order,she have returned it to him, not throw it in the trash, he turns and walks out not wanting hear her reasoning for that action,that wsa dec9,2010. dec 13,2010 monday bad snow storm our son did not go to school, my husband recieved an official dps letter alleging he was loud,disruptive to class&staff, we he told me the class had left out. we have been trying to talk to principal, principal tracy johnson who sent this letter with out talking to us before filing this paper work on him, which he been banned from the teachers class& school grounds with out permission,dec 17, 2010 friday he finally reaches the principal who tells him he has no business picking up his kid at 2:30 when they get out at that time, she tells him the teacher autumn stinson tells her we call her after hours harassing her, untrue,she liar, my husband has called her as courtesy call to inform her he wouldn,t be in school the next day ,as well she has called us after hours to inform us she wouldn,t be in herself, i do not trust putting my son back in her care, the principal told my husband to let it die down, how can we {me}with false paper work filed and lies that have been told that untrue, somethung is wrong with teacher, she has banned all parents from their kids,i,m never seen a teacher who does that especially need children.well icant let this slide -unacceptable as a mother,parent and my son advocate.
