Teacher Complaint: Ms.mariam Rodrigues - Ps 139 Alexine A. Fenty Sch
Instance#1:
Today on june 22,2010.My son is on the trip to New York Aquarium with his class and teacher Ms,mariam Rodrigues is with them.Iam having an emergency which involve my son and I need to speak to him urgently.I contacted school about this issue and school told me they cannot give me the teacher's cell phone but they told me they can call teacher and give your ph# and ask her to call you.I said Ok please do it.Afetr 3 hrs I have called school 3 times and they told me they left 3 messages on ms Rodrigues cell ph to call you but she never called me.
Instance#2:
on 01/19/10 at 3:15pm discharge time I get late to pick up my child and Ms rodrigus get upset about it because she has to wait some extra minutes to discharge child from school.So this anxiety resulted in injury on head(got 4 stitches) to my child.Instead of calling 911 she took the child to class room and were putting some bandage on the injury spot.when I got there I been told he just get slip from stairs and got a littile wound.but when I took the child out it start bleeding again and I have to take him to hospital where he got 4 stitches.Although I get aware of the situation but I ignored at that time because it was first time and I was not aware of the teacher's bias nature.
Since my child move to Ms Rodrigues Class I start noticing that she gave a bias look to me and my child and my child is ignored against other students in the class.
I have my elder son go to same school for last 3yrs but never had complaint against any teacher except Ms Rodrigues.
I would request school administration and dept of education to please contact the teacher and talk with her so she probably change her attitude against littile kids and become a better teacher and get apprecitaed instead of being complained by parents,students and by the community.
