Teacher Complaint: Robinson Elementry Secretary - Robison El Sch
i was told by a homebase teacher from headstart to enroll my son into kindergarten.so i called robinson elementry and asked what i needed to do and the secretary asked me my sons name and address and his birthday.then she told me he fell short of the age requirements by 15 days.well i asked how do i get him in because he's 5 and suppose to be going into kindergarten and she went on asking me can he point out the whole alphabet and know all the sounds.i said he knows alot of them and she said he's not smart enough to attend this school. she said he can come when he's six because he will be smarter then and i said hows he gonna be smarter when there's no school available for him here in summit.i said well my daughter who is 4 isn't gonna have to be tested because her birthday is may 31 and she replied girls are usually smarter than boys.i was so pissed so i asked her,do you know my son have you spent 5 yrs with him so don't fucken tell me he's not smart.so she said i can have him tested and she said he probaly wont do good.she's so lucky i had my son with me because i would of lost my cool.so then she said i have someone call you about getting him tested and a few days later someone calls me and sets up a meeting,and do you know in twenty minutes of sitting with a shy child they determined he's not eligible to attend robinson so she gave me a number to a special education intermediate place and i called.and they will be here tomorrow to test him.my son is 5 and can write his name,spell his name,knows his birthday,knows the alphabet,he can dress his self,knows his shapes,if you write something he can copy it,it might be a little funny looking but he's trying,he can count,he' great at sports and has good conversation.that to me shows he's an average 5 yr old who's been denied school because he's a boy.this is not fair.i hate robinson and i will never put my kids in a school who discriminates against boys.the thing that gets me is they don't even want to give him a chance.fucken haters.fuck you robinson i hope people read this and take their kids out of your school.
