Teacher Complaint: Patricia Fisher-secretary - George Washington High School
On the first day of school September 19 I approached the Secretary's office Ms.Patricia Fisher sat there on the phone so I didn't say anything I waited once she hung the phone up I immediatly complimentaed her on the blouse she was wearing it was very cute, she said what did I need. I felt this was rude. I said I'm here spending the day with my daughter and she has her schedule and is in class and I was wondering if you could print me out a copy for my records? she said what is the student name still rude I said my daughter name she then began trying to lecture me she said I will give you this copy but I could'nt give it to my daughter I said her schedule and I would like a copy for my self she said I'm telling your this for a reason rude I'm pissed off now ! I said I don't need to hear this becasue the copy your about to give me is for my records I told you my daughter has a schedule and it's yellow ..I then asked what was her problem she began getting even more mad and for reasons that existed prior to me entering her office she came from behind the counter as if to imtimadate me approached me I said could we just start over she looks confused so I said I don't know whats wrong with you but it's nothing to do with me..and your behavior is uncalled for.I was overly kind to her she left the room and crosses the hall I follow her she then approahes Ms.Rodriguez's desk whispers something then Ms. Rodriquez starts in on me too by saying in a very rude way you'll have to sit there an wait so another office Secretary is stting there and I think she felt my pain cause at this point I'm crying I explained to her all I wanted was a copy of my daughter schedule The unknown Secretary sitting just south of Ms. Rodriquez's desk apologized and I said is this what my child will have to deal with I need positive Secretaries and teacher influencing my childs life or she may fail during this time Ms Easterling comes and realized I'm crying and ask what's wrong the unknown nice secretary states Ms Rodriguez was being mean and as a matter of fact she had snapped at me that AM as well I said again is this what my child will have to deal with Principal Easterling comes they get me tissue unknown Secretary hugs me and the Ms Rodriquez must of felt bad for cause she hugged me too the point of all this is that I need my child to have positive influence and I don't want her feeling hurt by adults and Ms.Fisher and all Secretary staff should be kind approachable helpful and if they can't do this they should find Jobs that accept bad attitudes if the expectation of my child is high then the leaders expectation are even higher
